And remember, the stronger the country you start with, the more difficult it is to start. So perhaps it's best to start a little smaller and work your way up. Or perhaps not. What would you do?

Assume existing technologies.

Saddam never posed a threat to us, or our freedoms. he had no nuclear capabilities, or any WMD's. Iraq is not housing any terrorists (seriously, no Al-Queida links at all. Insurgents are NOT terrorists...) so...what are we still doing over there.

and do NOT tell me democracy. thats bullshit.

I still believe if we looked harder we would find all the things that could kill us in Iraq. I know in my heart that President Bush did the right thing in the war in Iraq. My son was almost sent to Iraq the first time we had a war there. My brother was sent to Vietnam & he still will not talk about what went on over there.

I don't know whether to apply at Hawai'i Pacific University or join the Navy. Of course I am a bit terrified beacause the Navy is not going to be easy but at the same time, the rewards are going to be great. If I decide to enlist, that would be it. I'd have to go through it. What should I do? Hawai'i or the Navy? I am 26 years of age and I need to get my act together.

Where did World War II get it's name and which civilization suffered the greatest impact?

The only country in the world that didn't survive World War II was Prussia. Does World War II take full responsibility in the complete major loss of the country of Prussia or is it the worlds neglect? Doesn't the World have responsibility in bringing it back? If so, when?

We are shunned for it. Most other countries use the fact that we have to follow these rules against us. Do you belive that the Geneva Convention is good for those who follow it, or for those who don't???

In the military, they make people feel very intimidated and helpless to stand up for themself because they’re under all this pressure to follow orders and go with the flow. Don’t stand up for yourself--not only because you face punishment, but also because you don’t want the people you’re serving with to say that you’re hurting the integrity of the team.

PRIOR to enlisting maybe some course should eb required so people know what the implications of thier actions are and what damage could be incurred if they do someday figure it out.

For example PTSD.

What is your honest opinion when you see people saying things like, "Stop the War!", and "Bring the Troops home!"? My husband is in the Army and quite a few friends and they all say they'd rather be helping and doing what they're trained to do than just sitting around. These protestors claim to support the troops, but I think they refuse to actually see it from the troops point of view.

Dark blue with a white cross (like a t, not like an x) through it. I was driving through Connecticut a couple of days ago and saw some men, in colonial garb, carrying the flag. I've googled it, and looked through a few websites, but haven't found it yet.

I asked the recruiter about ARG(Active Guard Reserve), and he said that it is as easy to get into as filling out an application.. Is this true? Also, from what he explained gave off the impression that as AGR you reap the benefits of active duty while not ever having to be deployed into war, as in you get to stay in your home town, living off Housing Allowance, and working on the nearest base.. Will someone who knows please describe the truth behind AGR to me and let me know if it is, in reality a good route to take? It just sounds too good to be true...

Is anybody sick of seeing recruiters in school and in places like Wal-Mart? If people want to join the military then THEY will come to YOU. It is like they are encouraging you to go kill yourself. It is just as annoying as people trying to convert you to their religion. I want to know what you all think about those recruiters who hit the streets to ask people to join the military?
