The Iraq war was a farce. Big oil is the answer!

Al Queda has taken a stand in Iraq, so we should be there. But we should have never gone in without an exit strategy and a clear time line. This could go on forever. Colin Powell said that this wasn't the way the military should be used, and it's really funny to me that our prez didn't listen. This is the same guy who dodged Nam by playing around and not showing up for his drills in his reserve unit. Politicians without military experience are always the first ones to put on the war paint.

How much are the US willing to pay for Control of all the oil in the Middle East. That is what the gamble is for, not freedom or democracy for a bunch of turban wearing peasants living in the deserts over there, but for oil for your farm tractors, SUVs, trucks, ships tanks and planes. If you do not secure oil then your American way of life dies. Your citys will not be able to function with out fuels for transportation, lighting or power or heating. You can not go back to the horse and buggy. That technology is not viable any more. With out oil for agriculture half of you will starve, and the list of technologies is very long that depend on oil, even your computer needs oil in the form of power to run it, and the whole infrastructure that supports it and that it supports

How is oil the cause of it whoever said that? We haven't taken any oil from Iraq. We've found 20 significant weapons caches in the week after Zarqawi's death. There is a reason to be there, but there is a bigger reason to be in Iran.

No, what is happening in Iraq is nothing but a great cause, eventually having a democratic ally in the mid-east will only strengthen democracy throughout the world. I think that is one of the most important overall goals of the US as a leading democatic nation.

We are doing the right thing by being in Iraq. We just need to use a lot more force to get control of the country. We need to destroy the resistance, establish a benevolent dictatorship and leave.

no, there is absolutely no reason to be in iraq at all.

and why the **** is iran any better?
because they might ALSO, POSSIBLE have nuclear missles?

why not North Korea? they LREADY have those...

Or maybe because Iran has been refusing the U.N.'s attempts at weapons checking, or for that matter, refusing to comply with the U.N. at all.

well h*ll, so has...North Korea again!

but what does the middle east have more of than asia?
