Until recently, Israel was the only democracy in the middle east and our only true friend there too. Now there are two other brand new -- and admittedly screwed up democracies. As long as we stay, the middle east will become more westernized and thus less violent, less oppressive and less inclined to be our enemies. Right now it's all very new and there is huge resentment. It will wear off in time though, and then we'll enjoy our accomplishments.

Your top man thinks that life is a game of RISK. Divide and conquer? Hello. This is the 21st century. $$$ is everything. $$$ rules the entire world. Bombing another country will not achieve anything. A little brute if you ask me. He's better off spending the billions wasted on bombing desert sands on his own people who are homeless and are victims of natural and manmade disasters. Who is helping his citizens? You help each other with the donations and volunteers. Where is the govenment's help?

He made the same mistake his daddy made and is re-elected?

IMHO, your soldiers should get out of the Middle East. Armageddon will start because your soldiers are there. Let the Middle Easterns kill each other. They have been doing so and does not disturb any other country except for their neighbouring countries like Jordan and Turkey for the refugees, who are the innocennts.

If Americans want to they could end their dependence on oil (use other ways of powering stuff up...there's a lot of em), and cut their losses and leave. Asides from rejoicing of hippies, antiwar weaklings and islamists everywhere that will mean that the muslims can now finally kill each other and the Sunni/Shiite/Sufi sects will finally disappear in flames. Hopefully they take the f**king Europeans and Russians with them. Other results could include but are not limited to: final holocaust with all Israelis dead in the hands of whatever muslims manage to survive the sectarian war that will likely arise from Iraq, Chinese temporary dominion in the world (they can have all the oil in the world now) before Japan and Taiwan finishes em, UN collapses...hmm yes an ideal world now would be built from that. Everything done has consequences...something Iraq should have taught not just the US but the world.

We should get out, it is a no win situation. And if we would have know the real reason for going in the beginning then a lot of people would not have been as willing to support it. Our soldiers shouldn't be dying for oil, there are more important things we could be fighting for right now.

Many Americans have been killed by fanatical terrorists spanning decades! Just do a Google search. The enemy wants all infidels DEAD. Get it? They won't just stop if we ignore them! This is only a partial list. Target = Americas.

we need to LEAVE NOW! we have no business over there, other than bush making big $$$ off of oil. we use the exuse of needing to set up a government, well that would work, amybe we let them set one up. the reason democracy hasnt set in is because we wont let it. by keeping our puppet govt. in, we have an excuse to stay there longer.

and whats with the voilence? all of the voilence. some one saying "nuke them until they glow?" do you know how horrible that is?

today, death is downplayed SO much. in a car crash, say 4 people die. people think, "oh, well 4 people...not to bad, i could have been worse i guess" yes i could have but those are four lives that have ceased to exist.

what if that was you?

you're taking about mudering over a million people. probably many, many more than that.

thats horrible.

one death is to many.

Oil will flow here whether we're there or not. The middle east will be the beginning of Armageddon. A little democracy there will help stave it off for a little while.

Neither; we should stay there until their government is stable. The last time we helped some people like this out, years ago, we left too soon, and left them to suffer at the hands of their enemies.

We should stay there till the job is done!
To give in and just up and leave would send the wrong message to the lil rag head bastards!
It's either fight them and kill them there or have too one day fight them here in the streets of America.....Take your pick!

And what is it with you liberal whinny lil bastards you people act like the damn French frogs.... before the fight even begins you want too put your hands up and surrender!
