Thanks for the excellent help. An Petty Officer First Class in the Navy is of the E-6 pay grade. They could be making anywhere from $1701 to $2602 per month depending on time in service.

The 1 refers to Petty Officer first Class, and E-6. The ADJ part refers to Aviation Engine Mechanic, Jet. The counterpart was ADR (reciprocating engines). No longer used, the correct term is AD for Aviation Machinist Mate. They work on the engines of Navy aircraft.

The pay grade is e-6. The rank is Petty Officer 1st class. Not sure what rate it is.

I believe jet mech, and e-6 pay grade. My husband is an
AWSWSD1 and 1 is usually e-6.

if the first post is right, they make about $80,000. i know a guy who is a cheif petty officer in the navy, and thats what he makes.
