I was an intel analyst in Korea for two years. I studied Korea for four... Kim Jong Il is not a stupid man, and will take any oppurtunity to attack that he can. He's ruthless, and controls the hearts and minds of his people. He has taedong 2 missiles that can reach our shores, and those "power plants" he built all have testing fields and observation platforms. Suspicious to say the least. He is dangerous. More dangerous than Al Queda. He has almost a million soldiers in his military, and twice that in reserves. He has diplomatic ties with China, who has the largest military in the world. This is the making of world war three. Nuclear power is not something he should have.

Korea has the right to test missiles for many of her neighbors not only have the missile complex, they the war heads to go with them what is the difference between Korea having a missile of destruction then Russia , China , South Korea (supplied by the United States) all of these countries including India could fire those missile at North Korea or if they get the impulse to become our enemy, those same missiles we allow others to have are just as dangerous as those of North Korea, the answer to the problem is remove these type of weapons from all the nations not just North Korea.

i feel North Korea does have the right to advance their weaponry as an independant country, but they do not have the right because of their leaders. if NK launches the missle over Japan (again) Japan is going to, how do you say, flip out. if they launch it toward the US West Coast the US military will deploy its best anti missle countermeasures, but there is very little you can do against a missle. but NK knows better not to do that because the US Nuclear Arsenal is so big it isnt even funny anymore.

Ideally, nothing...the N.Korean missiles are crap by any standards. Those defects alone sould render any NoKor attack impotent. Doubt they'd even try to nuke anyone...unless they are insane. If they actually try...well just bomb the f**king platform(s) that launched em and kill Kim Jong Ill...IMHO all this crap about world war III being sparked from this event is just that...crap.

There will be a lot of bickering between Korea and several other countries. Hopefully nothing more than that.

Very intriguing what should happen if they do is it our right to tell them what than can and cant do even though they will probably use it on us eventual. they are just hungry enough to do that one thing is true total war is good for the economy creates jobs so on we can not police every country we cant even police ourselves and do not have the right to push our views on any other group but we should defend ourselves if required.

IMO we should 'test' our anti-missile systems.
