I've seen a few comments here and there about this issue but nothing quite solid. Does anyone know the real deal about whether using those loud pieces of junk, I mean, equipment is illegal anywhere in the US?

I have been trying to get copies of footage possibly copied by public cameras on a nyc street last monday. I've been trying since last week, but the holidays and my inexperience in this has gotten me no where. I can't even find a lawyer to get these tapes for me. Is it too late for me to get the footage?

Also, if anyone knows of the kind of lawyer I would need to get this that'd be great as I'm not having any luck finding someone that will do this little thing of getting me a copy of these tapes.

Looking at the news coverage of the rioting in Paris, I am somewhat taken aback by the physical condition of the French riot police. They are all slender and very good looking. This contrasts sharply with the physical condition of police in the United States...

Can I have him arressted for adultery in the state of Illinois? And who do I call to have it done? Do I just call the police or do I have to call the Military police since he is in the Army?

Illinois (Adultery is a 5 year prison sentence) http://laws.findlaw.com/US/236/140.html Congress had no power to punish immorality, and certainly did not intend by this act of June 25, 1910 (36 Stat. at L. 825, chap. 395, Comp. Stat. 1913, 8812), to make fornication or adultery, which was a state misdemeanor, a Federal felony, punishable able by $5,000 fine and five years' imprisonment. http://laws.findlaw.com/7th/952053.html Their unmarried parents are "fornicators"; some are adulterers; fornication and adultery remain on the books of many states as crimes.

I got a ticket for tailgating, the cop said I was four feet from the car in front of me, which is a total fabrication. It's the end of the month and I think this cop is just trying to meet his quota. If a go to court to fight the ticket can I be allowed to see the cop's tickets given out for the month? I want to see if there is a flurry of tickets right at the end of the month.

My friend and I were pulled over by the police for speeding. Inside the car were a few construction cones that we stupidly picked up off the road. The police searched the car and found about 1 pound of thermite. We were arrested and taken down to the station. The bomb squad was called down to investigate the substance (thermite). The state fire marshal was also called down and he wanted a search warrant to search my house for "any other explosives". He got permission from a judge for a search warrant by saying "thermite is a known explosive". Thermite does NOT explode, it burns. The police argued saying anything that can burn can explode. But, if you stuff paper into an enclosed pipe and light it, does it explode? No, it burns; same thing with thermite. Thermite is NOT illegal. The police even said that. They busted down my door, destroyed my room and found NOTHING illegal. They are still holding my laptop to perform an "internet search" on it.
Is this justified?

It seems that in my encounters with the police, which have been a fair amount, they know less about the constitution then I do. They took an oath to uphold it, not me. I don't agreee with most of man's laws anyway. Gods laws are simple and they do not change. Jesus said love god with all your heart and soul and treat your neighbor as yourself. This should be the oath that the cops should have to take. As I said, I have had numerous dealings with the police, never been to jail though, and they rarely know their state constitution and sometimes they are familiar with a little of the U.S. Constitution. anyway comments please.

I got into some trouble with the law and the police started an investigation with the U.S. Postal Service. A package was stopped with a total of 18 pounds of 2 of the ingredients to make black powder (charcoal and potassium nitrate). Also included was a ball mill. A search warrant was performed in my room, and they found empty M-60 paper tubes, fuses, and some other fireworks ingredients. The reason I was buying the black powder ingredients was to make fireworks. I'm just wondering if I need to worry about it. (I live in PA, USA)

I know they are all branches of the US Justice Dept. Which of them has the most authority and what are the primary functions of each? Can one of them take over an investigation from any or all of the others? And when exactly does the ATF actually deal with anything having to do with alcohol, tobacco, or firearms? Thanks.
