i have a oral board in 2 weeks can you guys give me pointers and what you look, at answers, ext. i all ready know what to wear some questions that they ask just want to know alittle bit more i recently had one where i was told from an LT that i had a good head on my shoulders and was very impressed of the way that i answerd thier questions but i did not get picked up for a conditional offer dont know why can you help me?

There could be a lot of reasons why they didn't hire you. We have no way of knowing their exact reasoning. I will let you know this though, you have to work on your spelling/grammar. The way you articulate an incident in your narrative could possibly make or break a case, and that means you have to be able to write well. I'm guessing you probably don't put as much effort into your writing on Yahoo as you would if you were actually writing up an arrest report, but you should get used to doing it well all the time.

A position in law enforcement, despite animosity from those who thumb their noses at the laws, is a very prestigious position within a community.
Ones ability to think on their feet, retain information, speak correctly, and the ability to write correctly are extremely important.
With competition for these limited positions, selection is difficult at least!
Keep pressing the fight and you should hear good news eventually.
