What do you think is a better method to restrain a suspect that is resisting arrest? Taser gun or spray?

Having been the recipient of both, I can honestly say the taser is more effective and more humane.
If someone gave me the option of having to do one or the other again, I would definitely choose the taser.

The Taser is superior, some people are resistant to the effects of Pepper Spray, very few people are able to ignore the effects of being Tased.

I agree with you Jax Cop. I have been exposed to 4 types of pepper and both models of the taser. Pepper sucks.
From an officer point of view, the Taser is much better. There is no decontamination, no mess and innocent victims are not affected.

Taser. A person that has been pepper sprayed can still resist and hurt officers or others.

I think it depends on the circumstances. There has to be a reason why over 11,000 law enforcement agencies carry and use tasers. IT WORKS!!
It is clearly the most effective way to stop someone. It has nearly 100% stopping power with no lasting after affects.

I think more people die with a taser gun than lose eyeshight with pepper spray. maybe cops just need a little more Kung Fu in their daily routine than park time at the Dunkin donuts.

Teaser for restraint>Spray is a joke most of the time and you have to get close and the rest of the people around breath it>
