7 years ago in 2000, I was arrested by the FBI. This was BIG news for my small, “non-ethnic” NJ town. Since release from Federal Prison (18 months white-collar crime), I’m a model citizen and a community leader: Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree from FDU (Summa *** Laude) pursuing my Master’s Degree at 38 yrs old.

Today, arrested by a police officer who has it “out for me”. Went to Commerce Bank where a car accident (not me) in front entrance. 2 officers were on the scene. Walked past both into bank; 5 mins later, went to my car (25 ft) opened door when this officer appeared behind scaring me, saying “you have a warrant for your arrest”. Instant response “are you stalking me? How do you know this?” replied “and your license is suspended”. Quick facts: car registered in husband’s name; knew Officer from contact 7 years ago. Each time he sees me out (w/kids, wherever) runs warrant check. Warrant issued while in prison in my company name so he had to REALLY dig for this.(more)

If my friend is over for driving on suspension in MI, will she be arrested or receive a ticket and summons to appear? She lives in a rural area and there is no public transportation. Driving is the ONLY option.

I was given a ticket for minor in possession of alcohol and the officer forgot to put a court date on my ticket does this mean I really have no direct time to pay my ticket by or do I even need to pay it at all?

So, say you get a speeding ticket with a $150 ticket, and refuse to pay it. They first would see if any family member would pay the fine, then throw you in jail if all friends and family refused (correct?). Once you are out of jail do you still have to pay the fine? Would you be relieved of the $150 fine if you went to jail?

I'm a little confused on the whole process. I know there is something called and FBAT test but do you take it before or after the academy? And how do you apply for the academy? And do I need to be a Florida resident to apply? I would very much like it if someone could give me a quick version of the whole process. Also, if you are a police officer in Florida, what city?

I broke up with my ex boyfriend, who is unfortunately, a cop, I'm not going to go into details why we broke up but before the break up, me and his friends are cool with each other. I hate to admit, but when I was dating my ex, I use to speed quite often, and sometimes don't stop at stop signs, but I've NEVER gotten a ticket, but all of the sudden, after the break up, he and his friends are after me. Also, that one time, I noticed my ex was following my car, for about ten minutes, then he drove the other way. I feel like I'm being stalked, and his friends have stopped me recently, and they were very rude. Should I tell his supervisor about this?

My mom wants to send my brother to juvenile hall..don't even know if she can do that. He doesn't go to school. He is rarely home and I know for fact he is running around with the older gangsters and they're most likely using him to do things..he's only 14!! Has a tattoo on his back! Family is constantly worried and stress. He comes home to change and leaves. He snuck and deleted all of his friends numbers from my mom's cell. He was suppose to go to court with my mom in September for getting caught ditching, but he never shows up at home to even go..we don't know what to do! He lies constantly. And the direction he is going, we're afraid he will end up dead. ANy advice? we live in los angeles area..

I live on a street ofter considered a speed trap. Ofter when police stop a vehicle they position their patrol car directly in front of my driveway prohibiting access. This would be illegal for anyone else. I contacted my state representative who forwarded the question to the city police chief but I have heard nothing more. I fear that I was just entered into some sort of complainer database. Does anyone else have experience with this practice and what can be done?

I have a friend who had a warrant out for him, he turned himself in, and his possible options were going to be jail or the army. I've called the jail that takes people from four counties, mine included, and he isn't there. How would I go about finding out where he went? I just wanna write a letter or maybe visit.

My daughter's father has just been issued a bench warrant for non-payment of child support that was a stipulation of a contempt hearing we attending last month. He is currently on probation for a criminal offense and he's on probation for three years. I want to know if I can inform the warrant officer that he is on probation and have them contact his probation officer so he can be picked up or turn himself in. I'm sure his probation officer will know exactly where he could be located?
Serious reponses please.

I understand that during polygraph tests, they ask if you have ever drove under the influence. I did a few stupid things while i was in highschool and driving under the influence was one of them. Will this prevent me from being a police officer? I know that SFPD does not ask you what age you were and the circumstances you were in and this kind of honesty may hurt me. Am i stressing too much or is this a big deal?

I wouldn't normally care about a couple pieces of missing or late mail given the time of year. However, my neighbours are receiving my mail and are keeping it or passing it along late. I have recieved mail that was several weeks late!
I have left three notes for the mail carrier to deliver my mail to the side door mail receptical. In the last month or so I have only recieved my mail on time, in my mailbox, just a few times.
I complained to the Canada Post via their website, and they responded promptly saying they would investigate. However, this morning I found some of my mail from last week wrapped up on the front porch with a note to the mail carrier saying 'Please deliver to addressee. Sorry for the inconvenience but this could lead to legal issues. Thank you for your patience.'
Since when is it an inconvenience to deliver to the proper mail box? Why are my neighbours keeping my mail for weeks on end when they know it's wrong? Would you contact the police to report mail theft?

I am following an associate in science degree in criminal justice technology but I don't know what is the best bachelor degree that I can take, I have many courses of chemistry and biology, and I would like to work in and off the scene and the crime lab, if I want to work in both places, what would be the best field for me? I heard that a forensic scientist is a better remunerated job but I wouldn't like to work only in a laboratory and I want to participate in the investigations fully.

thank you

I decided to fight a speeding ticket I received. I've been free from any tickets in the past 15-18 months and normally drive the speed limit and I honestly made a mistake this time. I have an informal hearing with the magistrate at the local police department. What can I expect when talking with her and should I wear a skirt?

Alright so I have had a stalker trying to ruin my life for the past two months. But I am not being assertive and standing up to myself!!! I called the police and he said he is "very interested" becuase when I told him about how my stalker begs me for adderall and he deals adderall to girls at my school he sounded interested. Ok, so I know the stalkers myspace password, and in there are messages that say to girls "hey wanna come by and pick up the adderall" and things like "hey i have that adderall to give you 10mg" and he says "boy I sure am hyper since taking this adderall!" HE IS NOT PRESCRIBED ADDERALL. Would this be enough proof for the officer that he is dealing adderall? Would the officer think I am bad for knowing his email password? Also I am going to the counselor at school to get help!!! Do you think I have a chance. The stalker said he would just turn it around and say I am giving him adderall. could the cops believe his screwed up story?
