Oh, I know in certain instances this could keep from lethal force. But should there not be some kind of standard of when to use the tazer, and when to not?

aggraveted assault in texas, neither are going to press charges. Wife called police after she came after me with knife and police say she barely scratched me in the back. Been married 9 years both work for the government and have never been arrested before. gave oral statements to police and 911 call. no written statement. Both turned in affidatates saying we didn't want charges pressed against the other. Lawyers won't give details until I give them money, just looking for answers. no physical harm done to either except a small pimple looking scratch on my back.

my fiancee' is paying his parents for their car and he took it from texas to see me in ohio now his parents are threatening him with the car saying they are going to say the car is stolen and going to put him in jail for stealing the car...we need to know what to do quickly plz...serious answers only plz.

Basically they have a dog that wont shutup and I told them that if they dont make it shutup that I was going to cook it for my Thanksgiving dinner.

the plane was to small for all the bags to go on so my mom put a green tag on hers and they put it under the plane. when we got to where we were going she couldent find her jewlery and there was 1300 dollars worth of jewlery in her bag. my mom is really upset and we dont know what to do, can you help?

g my child. To xplain what a dirty cop is: he helps to perpertrate illegal activities: stealing cars, credit cards, dr's license, etc, & then finds a victim to place the charges for the crimes (ascape-goat). My child loves the internet at the local library, well this dirty cop's son would sit next 2 my child and play pornograhy videio trying to rape-seduce my 11 year old child. I can't afford a computer of my own so my child can have his own space. what should I do??? Because this dirty dealing has an idea that who is going to believe a high-status African-American (so-called) police officer verses a poor (we live in the projects) 11 year old Black child

I had just gotten on the freeway..

i was going 75, on Cruise Control, as always..

On the oppisite side of the freeway i see a cop with his search lights out scanning the side of the road.

a mile or two down the road i see anohter cop, in my lane of traffic, and going really really slow. like 45 maybe.

At first i got startled cause i came up on him so fast.. so i pumped my brakes to slow down, changed lanes, passed him.. and started to speed up again.

And the cop flipped on his lights and pulled me over.

He said i was going 89. Which is crap to begin with, cause i doubt my truck could go that fast, AND, i was on Cruise control.

So i got a ticket.. but that is BS>

He was riding the shoulder, i followed all traffic laws, and i get some tickets for it.


is there anythign i can do. can i call BS and get out of it some how?

When someone is on the cell phone WHILE driving, they have slower Rections than someone with a .12 Drinking problem.
So lets get a law for Those who are behind the wheel driving while on the Dreaded Cell phones in hand!
If you talk then pull over to do it.
And all the Speed Ticket laws need to be uped on the fines, 2 years on your record, and double the current fines, please. What does my Fellow Peace and police officers and patrol feel about this.
i'm tired of the dam Weaving all over cell phone Drivers cutting me off.
Soon i will buy a beat up pick up truck and correct their Swayings from lane to lane. As an protective American trying to keep my family safe on the road, when they cut me off the road.

I was a passenger in a car with another passenger and a driver.
We were stopped by the police after a short car chase because the car was stolen.
They quickly grabbed us and handcuffed us and one officer said make sure they stay separated from each other.
We were placed in separate vehicles and taken to the police station.
We were fingerprinted and photographed.
I was in a cell and had to use the bathroom they took me from the cell and put chains around me and walked me to the bathroom is this legal.
I already went before a judge and the case continued to February.
Will I have to go to jail?

Good Day to everyone. I think I may have been charges with Harrasment, if this is the case what happens next? I have gotten no phone calls and no cop has shown up at my house or work, but my ex called and said watch your back, there is a warrant our for your arrest. Do you think she id just trying to scare me, or do you know if she filled for harrasment what happens next? Letter in the mail? Cop showing up and arresting me? thank you for your help.

I work for the local sheriffs office where i live. And the other day I was givin a ticket for my tint being to dark on my pov. I did not come out at tell the trooper that I was a deputy, but when I pulled my commission to get my drivers license he asked if I was an officer. I repiled yes and he proceeded to give me my ticket and told me to have a nice day. Do you as an officer believe in giving other officers a ticket?

I was speeding when I saw a cop on the opposite side of the road and I immediately slammed on the brakes to slow down. I went from 70 to 60 (in 50 zone) before passing him.

He pulled me over but DIDN'T TICKET ME!!!!!!!!!

My dad says the cop let me go because he didn't get a good radar clocking because of my braking. Is this true?????

O.k., here's the deal, I am now 25 years old and have 2 misdemeanors which have now been expunged. The first misdemeanor was a "carrying a concealed weapon" charge when I was 18 years old, it was a dagger. The second was a disturbing the peace charge, thanks to my ex-wife, when i was 22 years old. It was initially a domestic battery charge but got dropped to disturbing the peace, I honestly did not hit her but she said that I choked her, so the police took her word and arrested me. I am desperately trying to get into law enforcement in the Los Angeles area and have trouble doing so because of my record. I heard that it takes 7 years for a misdemeanor to vanish, can anyone confirm that? I just need a straight no B.S. answer. Thanks.

I'm 15 and I live in michigan and I recently got caught stealing a necklace and some earings, which was only 22 dollars worth (stupid, i know.) This is the first time I've ever done something like this and i have no previous record, I know i have to pay the store back but I'm just curious as to what's likely going to happen to me legally. I had too much to drink one night and asked a family member to drive me to meet my husband. That person brought along two frozen beers as well, one for himself and one for my husband. Along the way, one of the cans burst open. I was trying to clean up the mess when we were pulled over. The driver was arrested on previous warrants, but not charged for the open beer. I told the officers that I had been drinking, and they took me to the station to arrange transportation. I was not booked or charged with anything, simply waited in the lobby until the busses started running. I was there for about four hours. A week or so later, I was mailed a ticket for open containers, and the officer wrote that I'd "left the scene". It wasn't my car or my beer (I don't even drink beer--never have). How can I be charged, given these circumstances? Futhermore, how can I fight it?

i got a ticket because i didn't have my front license plate (5200 a vc). I know that i have to get the ticket signed off by an authorized person. I don't know where to find this authorized personnel. i know that a officer would be good, but its not like you can stop them in the middle of something just to ask them to sign your ticket???

I have a notice to Appear in Court for a Speeding Ticket.


I am confused, the details say this:

When: "w/in"
Date: 60 Days
Time: 8:30


The cop wrote all of this when i was pulled over and gave it to me on the notice. I was given no Speeding ticket. This is my second...why was I not given the actual ticket?

i am just wondering because i am in highschool, and if they decide to "bring the dogs" one day, are they even allowed to make their dogs sniff my car or is it some violation of my rights...idk im afraid to ask my law studies teacher lol
