how strict do police enforce window tint laws?

my car is getting tinted 30% the legal limit is 35% but with the 30% you can still see inside of my car

You are close enough that they might not notice the 5% difference. Best bet would be to get a ceramic film since these are less reflective but as dark. They wont notice these films as much.

Geez, 35%? What state do you live in? In most states the limit is 6% (limo tint). Anyway, 5% difference is not really going to make a difference. The only time cops mess with people about tint is if they are driving through a drug neighborhood and want a reason to search the car or if they stop you for something else and want to be d!ckheads about it and give you as many tickets as possible.

if you can hold up a credit card on the inside of the window, up against the glass, and still read the numbers then you are fine...if you can't read the numbers then its considered illegal
when and if you get pulled over...roll down your windows...it makes it easier for the officer to see inside and he/she won't feel you are a threat

It depends on where you live. I do think you will be ok with 30 percent.

if your obeying the laws.they usually wont bother you.but if your acting like a jerk,driving like a mad man,they will find anything to get at you.

depends on the state. if you dont act suspicious, or speed or be a butt hole on the road, they usually leave you be.
