Don't forget the police will be coming too. I pull over probationers and parolees, then drive them home to search their stuff a couple times a week. Totally legal. Of course, I usually end up taking them to jail after the search.

As often as he wants to.
What he goes through is also up to him. Generally, areas of the house to which you have no access - a roommates personal bedroom, for example - will be immune from probation search, but not always.

He will come as often as he feels necessary. The more reason he has to suspect you, the more he will come and the more often he will search. As well, the severity of your crime, as well as the judges instructions to him, will influence him. In short, there is no "usually" in these things. Its all situational.

perhaps, this probationary time is a time to reflect.
do you real want to be giving up your right to privacy by doing whatever gets you on probabation?
your probably saying no
but yet it sounds like you keeping yourself in this cycle by having things in the house that you shouldn't
and if you don't and your just curious then okay but really i suggest you use this time to just figure out your next step in life.
it is up to probabtion and they can go through pretty much everything.

As mmany times they feel neccessary or they get bored and they do not have to announce their visit...so if you have anyone else in the house and they own weapons..get rid of them.
