My daughter's father has just been issued a bench warrant for non-payment of child support that was a stipulation of a contempt hearing we attending last month. He is currently on probation for a criminal offense and he's on probation for three years. I want to know if I can inform the warrant officer that he is on probation and have them contact his probation officer so he can be picked up or turn himself in. I'm sure his probation officer will know exactly where he could be located?
Serious reponses please.

It is a matter of public record and you can tell anyone you want. You could call his PO directly and tell him. State law will dictate what the PO can do with that information.

Yes, I have no idea what state you're in however where I live if you're on probation you must tell the probation officer if you ever been arrested since your last report date. Who knows he probably told his probation officer in advance that he can't afford to pay child support and that chance are he may have a warrant issue against him.

the court will probably notify the PO for you. When the warrant is entered into the system the PO should find out.
