ok, so I got a divorce like a year ago, and my lawyer told me that she was going to charge me 3,500 of course I ended up paying her 1,700 more!! and today (a year later) they called my from her office saying that I owe $800 more, and I looked at a statement and it says that for every call I made she charged me $62 and for everytime I went see here it was $210 and she never mention that to me, and for every copy and postage she also charged me! Is that how that works with a divorce lawyer? or she is really ripping me off?

There are so many laws now out there regarding strapping a child into a safety seat or booster seat or whatever it takes so that your kid is not bounced around like a pinball while you're driving. When we Boomers were kids, there were no such laws (not to mention no seat belts or anything else of that nature) and we survived things that would make a younger person of today's hair curl. Do you think that the government wants the next generation to become a bunch of marshmallows or is there a real danger out there that didn't exist 40 or 50 years ago. Come on - let's make sense!

I think she went nuts, and struggle with the police. The media said she was going to alcohol rehab. If that was the case, why was she flying alone? How in the world police should POLITLY ask people to come with them, especially if they are agressive/violent? Do you think she would come politely with them?
Of course her family will say, NOW, that she was sweet, what else they will tell, that she was crazy? Yeah right.

I was reading this article and I thought:
If someone commits a crime, the repercussions of that crime should reverberate through the rest of their lives. This guy was convicted of rape. He should have thought about the consequences such as not being able to be on school property and what not before he raped that person. The person who was raped has to deal with that for the rest of their lives. Why shouldn't he? Instead of complaining about not being able to participate more as a parent he should reflect more on his crime.

I told the the girl long before that,that the preacher said he did not care if I worked on my car in the church yard and that it was none of the managers of the apartments business if I worked on my car in the church yard she is the local snitch for the managers I talked to the preacher in person none of the church people have complained about it or said anything about it , it is none of her business she is just a hateful *****
and she can be dealt with. she is ugly as hell and could not get a man if she run over him never had a boyfriend. I will deal with
her if she continues . the law don't work for descent citizens anyway

I live in an apartment complex and for over five years I have been working on my car on church property across the street
and everybody in the apartment complex knows it even the preacher knows it and the other day somebody called the cops
and told them that I was working on my car behind the church
I think it was a crazy ***** that I stopped talking to and she did it for spite . can anything be done to her if she makes a call like that knowing that I have permission to work on my car in that place . Is that a false police report or something ?

Hi,

I have a radio show that gets broadcast via Internet and San Diego area digital cable. I want to start creating a podcast out of my talk show, but I was wondering if PSAs are copyrighted like regular music/images.

Would I be breaking the law replaying a PSA from my show on my podcast? Are they exempted because of their status as a "public service announcement?" Or should I omit them from the podcast like I am required to omit music?

If Goncalo Amaral made his accusations against the McCanns after lunch alcohol may have played a part in the confused and unproven string of accusations he made against the McCanns. Just look at this guy , he is an "arguido" himself for assaulting another suspect. He is also one of those who grilled the McCanns after lying that he had "proof" that their daughter was "killed by accident" and another string of lies.

This is an Indian company, my friend left his job without serving the notice period of 2 months as per appointment letter. A loan of Rs.15000/- have also outstanding on him. Can the company sue him through by court notice? What maximum the company can do & under which Act? What is power of a legal notice in this case? Im going to try to make this question as specific as possible. I have two different tickets on two separate occasions in two different towns. I simply do not want to just pay the fine outright. I want to fight it and go with the least costly solution. What is my best avenue. Pleading no contest, not guilty, hiring a traffic ticket attorney. I would appreciate very direct relevant answers and not things like "slow down" or just pay it. That is not going to help me in this situation. Thank you

I got pulled over coz the police ran my tag, then he tells me i pulled u over coz your registration is suspnded, and your license is suspended also, So he wrote the tickets and said you can take the car home you just have to call some one to drive you home he didnt tow the car or any thing but what i wanna know is will i need a lawyer or will they take away my driving privlidges i live in md?!?!?! and last but not least was i suppose to get locked up & the car get towed???

i was driving and got pulled over my reg was suspended coz of emmisionsnow the car is broke and sitting!! & my license was suspended!! Now they didnt lock me up officer said i had to wait for someone to come drive me he let me take the car now i have to go to court. Do i need a lawyer??

A lot of third world countries has a bunch of immoral laws as like maltreating women in some muslim countries or chopping off hands when someone commits a robbery ......... so do you think that a more civilized country has the right to step in and change those rules by force to what it will consider moral ....yes or no and why ....and what do you suggest to do about these rules and how to change it ? you may give examples if you'd like.
