I think someone stole my my personal information!. I tried to apply for a job at Gap Inc. and this was online in 2006 into 2007 they(Gap Inc.)learned that two labtop computers were stolen from their official office and unfortunately, one of the labtops contianed mt personal info (my name and SSN) I feel very unsettled !!!!!!!. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

My husband and I had a huge arguement (2 years ago) that ended up going way over the top...we were under alot of stress (our son had just died, money issues, he lost his job ect.) well a nosey neighbor called the police and dh was taken to jail for criminal domestic violence, we were both upset and in the middle of a screaming/shoving match when the police arrived, they saw dh pinning me down ( he was telling me to calm down)....he was released the next morning and ordered to have no contact with me....which was of course rediculous, considering we had both realized how out of hand things were and had calmed down....well over the last year and a half dh has been going back and forth to court trying to get the charges dropped....but today I recieved a subpena from a police officer stating that I am ordered to appear in court and testify against DH! He warned that if I did'nt show or refused to "stick to my story" that I could go to jail! I did'nt even write the story, the police did.

my client, is so obnoxious to me, spreading lies about me, yet i continue to serve his account. He's actually horrible to everyone even to his own organization. I know how much money he makes, and i know he's not paying his taxes. I am very, very much tempted to report him to IRS. He's been cheating our government because he earns a lot, and he's not paying anything except Withholding tax which is automatically deducted. Am i being vindictive? should I let the Lord handle him?

It would be the one year anniversary of my uncle's death, and he died at about five am, on his way to work.And I just want to sit with him and talk/cry.
and his death was well publicized in our town.

Yesterday we found a fly baked inside bread. My mom even ate one peace of the bread with it and only later we found a big part of the bug in the other peace of bread.
We called them (bakery) and they did not apologise and said that we are trying to play with thier name.
We called a lawyer but he said that he understands us but lawyers will not be interested in this case because of lack of financial interest.
What should we do? Should we contact organizations that support customers or any other state organizations?

my brother is paying child support but he still has past due bal over $5000 and they will not give him a passport to go outside the country. one of his 2 children is going to turn 18 in 4 years. does anyone know how this works?. once this child turns 18 will he still owe this balance ?

Ok heres my question.

There has been an abandoned tractor trailer sitting in a street that I work for. It has been abandoned since July. The company that owns it, is in South Carolina. Obviously, the company lost it or totally forgot about it. I was thinking.... "If I call up the company and let them know about the trailer being there for that long, and attach pictures of the trailer (without the number or license plate) and ask them for a reward, is that legal?

I have custody of two grandkids until they are 18, ages 9 and 13. I took early retirement at 64, their stepgrandpa is on social security disability. I received a check each month from the state for the kids. I have had these kids for 9 years. Can someone explain to me why they would not be elgible for benefits?

and protection in US churches? I am referring to the Sanctuary Movement. These are Hispanic people with clean records and job histories. Do you see this as a moral issue, or as a legal issue? Since these churches are mostly Christian, what do you think Jesus would do? I am not taking a stand, so please try not to rant. I am just asking a question.

Why would it be fair to take away the right for an employer to choose who he wants working for him? I can understand affirmative action working for govt. jobs but, beyond that it is just a form of discrimination.

The situation is child support. One party was served a summons to appear in court for child support. Both parties got together and agreed on an amount of support and wrote, signed and dated an agreement. Each party involved has a copy. The one who filed the case agreed to drop the court appearance. Is the paper they signed binding even if the other party does not drop the court date?
