With her nephew she was betrothed,
And the greatest among men brought forth

The King precepts she never obeyed,
But with silver and gold she was repaid

With wisdom and knowledge she was pledged
To have her boy from her breast be fed!

About a week ago I was involved in an accident. I was going left and the other person was going straight so I was deemed at fault. The other driver was excessively speeding and could have avoided me if they moved to right lane (I was almost across intersection); instead they swerved in front of me. The ambulance came and when I asked if everyone was okay he said yes, no one was taken to the hospital etc. The driver of the other vehicle had a suspended license, no insurance, and no registration, and they were not driving their own vehicle. Another passenger in the car had a warrant for his arrest. Both he and the driver were arrested. Yesterday I received a letter stating they are suing me (well my insurance company) because a passenger was injured. Is there any hope for me in fighting it because of the fact the driver had no license, insurance, etc...?

I made mistakes in my life, one over 20 years ago and one 8 years ago. One was false reporting the other theft by unlawful taking. Not to justify what I did, but it was due to being a victim of circumstance and the charges still haunt me when coming to get a good job. I am Christian woman, but can't get past these offenses, even though they were a long time ago. ( I have no felonies)

I own property in which I have given my mother life estate to. This was done by a deed through a lawyer; not a will and not self done. It is my understanding that:
*) Life estates terminate immediately upon the death of the life
tenet (my mother) and pass by law of operation to the remainderman (myself).

*** Situation: Mother is dying. We believe that my wifes sister; the only other child, has drawn up a will for my mother naming herself as executor.

* Question: Property does not pass through probate hence the only probatable assets would be the contents of the house (my mothers belongings). When mother passes, sister will for sure rush to the property to secure contents. How do I protect myself from her since I will own the property excluding the contents of the house. How do i provide her with the contents w/o her lying later saying I didn't give her everything. I have been told not to let her on the property w/o letters of testamentary. She is dramatic, how do I protect myself.

ok well, I'm in my senior year in hight school and am thinking to go to law school. I need to apply to a college this month...so I don't know what kind of pre-law program to take...I also heard, it isn't that great of an idea to take pre-law courses because then the professors in law school have to un-teach everything. So I want to get an undergraduate degree in something...not sure though..what is the best thing to get an undergraduate degree in...that will perhaps prepare you the most for law school. just give a best example

My ex-wife had an attorney but he dropped her because she couldnt pay the bills. she continues to file motions and drag me back to court, now without an attorney. She was just awarded attorney fees to get the old attorney back to fix her case and get things back on schedule for final orders. Here is where I just lost all sence of common sense. She cant afford an attorney anymore because she argues and wants everything 100%. Now the judge orders me to pay her attorneys fees pende lite so we can proceed with litigation. I have to pay her attorney and mine. Ive been trying to settle for two years and she refused. Now I get punished again by having to pay her attorney to keep delaying. this is not right. This cant be legal. who knows about this or has ever heard of such a thing. Its not a criminal matter. its california family law.

If an office holder from one organisation is an ex officio office holder in another, how does one describe the relaitonship that it creates between the two organisations?

The president of an organisation is the ex officio 1st VP of mine, and I'm trying to find a way to explain the relationship to the others from that other group. What's the best way to describe what the crafters of my constitution were trying to say?
