My ex, had 3 kids to 1st wife. He pays support on older 2 but nothing on youngest. She doesn't want support on the youngest and he refuses to pay or give anything. He says that is not his problem BUT says the child is his. Can anyone turn him in and he be forced to pay support on the youngest? I have heard you can turn people in this way. Is this true?

If the child is his, he is responsible for supporting it. If mom doesn't want any money, and never gets a court order, then there is no problem. If mom goes to court ten years from now and gets a support order, then he will have to start paying support and will also be responsible for back support.

That can get pricey.

Child Support is not about the mother's wants and wishes. This money belong to his child. The child can take him to court anytime (even 20 years from now) and sue him for all the child support in arrears. The mother can do the same too. Also, his current taxes can get audited anytime by the government.

The Division of Child Support is supposed to collect the money and give it to the parental parent. If they don't collect anything from him, then he will get arrested and booked into jail if he does so much as get pulled over for a traffic violation. The officer would see he has a warrant and would be forced to take him to jail.

You would have to agree in court and have the judge sign your agreement if you don't want to collect support to avoid him getting a warrant.

If there is a court order for him to pay child support on the youngest, and she recieves state aid, you can contact the state agency and tell them where he works and where he lives. If there is no court order there is nothing you can do!
