what are the chances of them finding out a firing me.. what are my options. thanks

Might show up on a criminal background check. If you were required to disclose it as a condition of employment and you failed to do so, then yes, they can fire you.

Probably. Employers most places can fire you for failing a drug test, so I don't see a difference if they find out about this.
As for options, I strongly recommend you stop using dope. The problem will self correct.

If you have insurance, check to see if they cover treatment.
They can fire you for drug use, however, if you sucessfully complete treatment, you are no longer a user and they can't fire you.
Voluntary treatment will look good when you answer to the charges, too.

If you local paper prints the court logs, and he reads them.....then ? But chances are, he dont need a reason to fire you, inless your under contract...
Also, may want to know why you want to take a day off. Its best to ask for this day off, way in advance...........
