While I was an exchange student in England I lived in a hall of residence. Well, one day we received in our flat a letter from the main office saying that we threw eggs thru the window again we would be fined! lol! No idea who threw the eggs, but we didn't do it!! anyway we had a good laugh when we read the funny letter!

I got pulled over once for running a red light, and I told the officer that I saw it turn yellow just as I passed under it, which was true. He let me go, and left me with these words of wisdom: "Remember, yellow means stop." I told my brother-in-law what happened, and he said I should have told the officer "No, yellow means go - - FASTER"!

I wasnt charged but expelled from school, the reason... cruelty to animals...I swatted a wasp that had just stung me,and thats a true story!

I got fined £80 for dropping a cig end in Manchester. Wasn't very funny though.

not me, but a girl in my village [in the late 70's] got charged for being drunk in charge of a vehicle - it was a pram !
and before anyone starts - no, there was no baby in it

speeding two days after i recieved my drivers licence no i was riding my push bike through some road works i still have the receipt for it along with the fine paper

A policemen turned up at my door to arrest me for not paying parking fines! I payed there and then and always paid after that.
