I think someone stole my my personal information!. I tried to apply for a job at Gap Inc. and this was online in 2006 into 2007 they(Gap Inc.)learned that two labtop computers were stolen from their official office and unfortunately, one of the labtops contianed mt personal info (my name and SSN) I feel very unsettled !!!!!!!. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

No! I'm not making this up this really happend! and I did recieve a letter from Gap Inc.

The Gap has notified everyone in writing that had information on the laptops. I you have not received a letter, your information was not included in the information on the laptops.
Has anything happened on your credit report that leads you to this conclusion? Or are you just making stuff up?
If you have actual information indicating that identity theft has occurred, contact your local police department.
