If they are married and have joint property can I garnish her wages? They can sanction a joint account and/or property so why not her paycheck since he's not working only to dodge child support. (I know it will catch up with him someday, but my bills are due today and the kids have needs today)

Hi,
I have two week notice contract with my employer for resignation. My fear is that my employer might deny later saying that he hadn't received any such notice - even though I gave him one [sent through snail mail]. So, how to go about this?

Thank you,
Kris

My ex has harassed me endlessly. He also used to work part time for the police department doing different things. Sometimes he'd use them to do certain things like play jokes or run backgrounds on people at random. Even call and harass people. I switched phone numbers, apartments, even doctors because I am pregnant. I am afraid he will get my doctor information and if he does that he will try to find out my scheduled appointments, er visits, any personal information at all by posing as a cop or having them call. He does this I've seen it first hand. Can he do this? I need to know so I can warn my doctor that he might attempt it. I have even kept my due date from him and am worried about any attempts to get my information.

This story has been very hug over the past few days. Reporters however found out that O.J. Simpson has been granted a bail of 125,000 dollars. Do you believe that this is fair, even though he was charged with 10 felonies?! If you can support your answer the best, you will receive 1000 for best answer chosen by me.

My (female) cousin's boating club has a guy I know who has a history of sexual assault on women, which this club is 70% comprised of. He's been with this club for 3 years and I only discovered this last year when she mentioned his name to me. I notified her about his history and advised her to pre-warn the club president so at least he's aware. She wouldn't do it because the guy is a model citizen since he joined.

My concern came true last month: he attempted rape on one female boatmate in his car after an post-race party. He's now in jail. The club is in shock. My cousin is speechless. The club president is now angry at my cousin for knowing about this for the last year. And I am angry she chose benefit of the doubt.

Can the victim sue my cousin because she knew this guy's history and kept mum? Am I also liable by association even though I have nothing to do with the victim and the boating club?

I'm getting concerned there's a going to be a chain reaction of legal events.

I have ceased to use the toilet and gone back to diapers. It's been about three months now. I'm in my mid-20's. At work it's no problem since I work in a saw-mill, and no one can hear them, or really smell them (the overpowering smell of sawdust, combined with industrial sized fans). The bathrooms there are disgusting, so it's nice not having to use their toilets. I wear overalls anyway, so no one can really see them. No, I don't have a medical need; I just wear them because they are MUCH more convenient, and very comfortable. There have been a number of studies recently, showing it's much healthier for your bowels and bladder to wear diapers and just go right when you have to, rather than holding it all day until you can get to a bathroom. Society tells us we have to use the toilet. I say, why should I have to? So, my question is, if my employer finds out, can I get into some kind of trouble since I technically don't have a NEED to wear them?

using the phrase a little WHITE lie is very prejudice and not the right thing to do.

Isn't it more more pictureque and memorible for us to stop using THAT phrase and replace it with.......

.......alittle "BUSH" lie?

it sure tells us what a lie can get to! (and politically & historically correct too, very educational )

(may we NEVER forget)

and I like our president.....oops, I told alittle "Bush" lie !!!!!

I believe in a woman's right to choose whether or not she will sleep with a man and possibly get pregnant.

I am NOT however, pro MURDER, which is what you do when you abort a baby.

What are you?

If abortion is illegal, people will still look for 'back-alley' abortionists. At least if its legal, the procedure can be done in a sterile environment.

Please, I need to have an attorney preferably from the state of Florida answer this question.

My ex owes a lot of back child support over $64,000.00 could she in effect have that also washed away with the rest of the debts she plans on having discharged? My child will be turning 18 yo in two and 1/2 months time, so as you can see he stands to lose a lot of college funds if this is granted. also it is not like she cannot afford to pay this, she just doesn't want to pay the balance now that he is almost an adult.

So let's assume that abortion becomes illegal. My question is simple: If its illegal, what should the penalty be for getting an abortion anyway?

My employer changed my schedule and didn't tell me at all. Later on in the week he called me on a day I was not originally scheduled to work and asked why I wasn't there and I told him I wasn't scheduled for that day. He ended the conversation with me being fired and to come and get my check and sign some papers. I have copies of the original schedule for that week and the one that he made for the week.....Can I sue?
