As you can see the police is abusing their power by using that so called "tazer gun". What are we waiting for ? Don't wait until it hits home. Write you political representatives.

I was looking up my ex's file online and he has 17 open court cases...the last one being on his birthday. It says Civil Other. I was just wondering what that could be. I don't like sending my son with him, especially with his bad record and wanting to know what he could have done now. Most of the past cases were traffic infractions. But what is Civil Other. Thanks!

without admitting that they do it with guns?
For the hardnuts, sure there are other ways to kill, but they are not as easy and as cowardly as pointing a gun FROM A DISTANCE. As someone else pointed out, most murders are done in an emotional outburst when a gun is handy.

There is so much unjust in this world at the moment, and the one thing Mr Brown can do, is to allow parents the right of knowledge, the god given right to protect their children, and stop hiding the animals that live amongst us. I don't want a witch hunt, or to go on a vigilante manhunt, all I desire is to know if a paedophile lives in my local area. Children need protecting, and if we knew that info, everyone would be extra careful of the little cherished ones.

Hi all. My wife and I split up in July. We were married 2.5 years and have one child together. She moved to her father's, and he lives 90 miles from where I do. dunno where she/i are going but i've worked hard to do the best thing for my son. I've been sending money to her each week.

The problem has been phone calls and visitation. she has a cell phone that i pay for. when i try to reach her during the week to discuss visitation or just talk to my son, i rarely get an answer. it'll go three, four days at a time. this has happened at least over the course of 3 separate weeks. finally i end up driving the 90 miles to just go get him. she has said she couldn't call back (over several days?), or the phone wasn't charged. one time she left the phone somewhere and didnt go back for it for about 4 days. Her dad doesn't want her using his phone.

I filed custody papers, and this happened again the same week. I got my son the next wkend. should i just keep him til the court date?

My ex husband who came to pick up our children yesterday tells me he's going to jail for a month and then being put on house arrest for a flubbed up job(carpentry work) and is being sued for 15,000. Does this make sense to you? I mean the jail sentence and all? He's been known to lie to me in the past so I guess I'm skeptical and being he has visitation with our children I would like to know the real reason he is in jail. Is there any way I can find this out?

Every time their is a question about the smoking ban, why do people always come up with comments along the lines of,

'Ohh, my clothes and hair smell lovely at the end of a night out!'
'I,ve got ashma'
'What about Roy Castle'
'What about my right to fresh air'

If pubs and bars that did not serve food where allowed to provide smoking areas that where ventalated and self-contained in a way that did not contaminate the rest of the bar at all what is the problem?

For those who don't like smoke for a start in 80% of places their would be no smoking. In the rest when you went in their would be no smoking, when you bought your drinks their would be no smoking, when you went for a wee their would be no smokein the air.

SMOKING ROOMS WOULD NOT RESULT IN YOU BREATHING SECONDHAND SMOKE
I repeat.
SMOKING ROOMS WOULD NOT RESULT IN YOU BREATHING SECONDHAND SMOKE
& one final time!
SMOKING ROOMS WOULD NOT RESULT IN YOU BREATHING SECONDHAND SMOKE

I have a friend in the El Paso County jail (Colorado Springs) who wants to request a new attorney. His current one is court appointed, but not doing a very god job. In fact, his ineptness may cost my friend dearly. The motions hearing has been set for Oct. 31 and his trial has been set for Dec. 3rd. Is there enough time to do this? What is the procedure for this? Any legal links with this info?

They got it right. why??? because of the blood they allegidly found on the glove and on his socks. the blood was tainted with a substance that preserves blood. which is not naturally found in blood. and this substance is only authorized to be used by the forensics. yeah he was set up. so there. the jury got it right the first time.

Can anyone give me any advise. A retired couple moved into our quiet cul-de-sac and they hate it but don't want to have to sell up again, seems they are just intent on moaning about everything. My son has a motorcross bike, I am a responsible parent and he is only allowed to ride it on a track, however once a week he'll give it a service and start it up for no more than 5 mins, he rides it up and down our driveway during this time, I spotted the neighbours taking a photograpgh of him. My husband challenged it and he deNeyed it, my son spotted him doing the same again last week.I had to park my car opposite his house as I had a skip on my drive, I know thats another thing he hates but I had no choice...and I am legally entitled to do so, it got badly scratched, no proof but know it was him. Now someone has rang Police saying my 2 dogs run around the street and attached another. They are never out unless on lead or in secure dog run. Any idea's what I can do, I feel I'm b'in victimised.

Almost 3 years ago I lied in court and won. I told a lot of lies about my ex wife. I won residential custody of our 2 children. They are getting older now and I know my ex wife will tell them the truth. I wish I didn't lie in the first place. If I go back to court and tell them I lied what will happen? Will I have to go to jail?

I dont mean the kind of online betting, I mean like 2 guys that are friends and they place a $1000 bet on a game. Can I be arrested for doing that if cops found out about it? What I mean is like if you and a few of your friends got together in a bar and you each bet $100 on a sporting event. Can you be arrested for that?
