no, but they're trying, and unfortunately there's a lot of people who think the state should be governing those things.

Depends on how you achieve your altered consciousness.

Do it with drugs that put us all at risk and yeah, that needs to be controlled.

Do it with excessive booze consumption and that puts everyone on your commute home in danger. So no attaining your altered consciousness and then driving.

You mean like doing LSD? And if so, who takes the blame when your 'altered' conscious commits a crime, you or 'the altered conscious?
