Not that it is any of your business I was a single mother I had a major health problems, first year was off work in the hospital allot, had to have surgery that required me to be off for a long period of time then the time it took to get another job.
I am sorry tough times caled for not being able to pay some of those bills I intend to pay it The company that calls me is being very rude and uncooperative and if I can stop the calls and start making payments then it would make it allot easier.
Thanks for all the rude comments know the whole story before you judge thank you

The actual date is the date of the last payment on the debt.
It may or may not be three years. It depends on the state, and what you bought.
Anyway, they usually sue well before the time limit.
What will be on your credit report is that you're a deadbeat. Your credit score will suffer big time for the next seven years.
Now, let me tell you how stupid this really is.
If you let this damage your credit score, and you go buy a house, you'll pay probably 1 to 3 percent more for a loan. Let's pretend it's 1/2 of one percent. Let's say you borrow 200k to buy a house. That means you're going to pay $100 more per month for the house because of the higher interest rate.
Doesn't seem very smart to duck a $2,000 credit card bill and pay $30,000 more in interest on a home loan because of it.

Yes, it is on your credit report.
You are entitled to one free credit report per year, from all 3 credit checking services.
Request it, and all the info should be there. You might want to have a credit service aid you in repaying the debt - but you definitely should not have to pay for your yearly credit evaluation.

People like you using and burning up credit cards eventually costs everyone. You made the bill, now pay the bill. You remind me of the idiots taking out ARM loans for homes, buying homes they could not actually afford, then crying because they are losing their home. It is time people like you start using your heads for something other than a hat rack. YOU MADE THE BILL PAY IT!

The statute of limitations starts on your last contact with that company or last payment made.
Unless they sue you before the statute runs out, then they can keep it going forever.

Your English grammar is less than perfect. If you are in the US, the statute of limitations is four years. If you owe the money, pay it.
If you stiff a credit card company, it will be on your report for seven years.

May I suggest that you be less concerned with the consequences to your credit and more concerned with the actual debt?
The best thing you can do for your current debt and your future life is to learn to be responsible with your finances.
