the simple answer is NO any claims re paterntity ets are dealt with by the soon to be defunct CSA. The small claims court will not allow you to claim because the CSA do this on your behalf.
And even if your manged to get payment from the father the CSA may even claim it again from him, you have no control at all when it comes to claims from fathers it is what the CSA does that counts nothing else.
the father could plead in court that the CSA pursuing him for payment and that would be sufficent defence to the claim you make

Doubtful. I am surprised you could get a divorce while you were pregnant. Many States will not allow this because of monetary difficulties during the pregnancy. Also, any type birth defects/special needs need to be addressed in Child Support orders issued at the time of the divorce. I have seen cases where the Father was assessed Child Support for an unborn child while waiting for the birth and divorce hearing.

In order to go through the SSC you have to produce evidence of the debt. Do you have receipts, etc for what you have purchased? I don't think this is the way to go about this - take legal advice.
