I have ceased to use the toilet and gone back to diapers. It's been about three months now. I'm in my mid-20's. At work it's no problem since I work in a saw-mill, and no one can hear them, or really smell them (the overpowering smell of sawdust, combined with industrial sized fans). The bathrooms there are disgusting, so it's nice not having to use their toilets. I wear overalls anyway, so no one can really see them. No, I don't have a medical need; I just wear them because they are MUCH more convenient, and very comfortable. There have been a number of studies recently, showing it's much healthier for your bowels and bladder to wear diapers and just go right when you have to, rather than holding it all day until you can get to a bathroom. Society tells us we have to use the toilet. I say, why should I have to? So, my question is, if my employer finds out, can I get into some kind of trouble since I technically don't have a NEED to wear them?

I'm completely dead serious. ANd you don't walk around "with a turd in your pants". You change your diaper if you poop in it. And as for urine- it's sterile. Diaper rash is really not caused by urine- it's caused by #2, and you can avoid it by using powder and other things. I should know, I've avoided this long, haven't I?

No, itsjunglepat, wiping up after #2 takes as much time as not doing it in a diaper, and I don't spend all that time sitting on the toilet waiting for something to happen, so less actually.

some men and women have a diaper fetish but of course their reasons are not medical, its for sexual gratification. if you want to wear diapers then by all means proceed. who will actually know you have on one unless you are wearing very tight overalls. lol. but when you soil yourself, how will you clean up on the job? i have never been in a mill but the smell of s*** and p**s is repulsive and distinct especially when its contained in no air such as in a diaper. The smell will seep through, trust me LOL

I have a hard time believing that you are asking this question seriously, but anyway... your employer cannot fire you on the grounds of you wearing a diaper as you could than sue the company for discriminating practices, however you wearing a diaper may cause your employer to want to fire you and therefore seek out some other reason to lay you off... i.e. budget cuts, and as I'm sure you know, diapers can get pretty expensive so your going to need that pay check.

Whether or not you wear diapers, underwear, go kamikaze, or wear the underwear of the opposite gender should make NO difference to your employer. That is a 'totally personal choice' ... BUT, if your wearing diapers somehow caused a 'danger to others' then you could be reprimanded or even ordered to wear more 'conformant' undergarments to work. You should NOT be 'fired' or even 'humiliated in public' (among your co-workers). And you may have a 'need' to wear the 'diapers' ... since you are a bit crazy (I am too, in my own way) and your diapers are the way you 'deal with' that craziness ... and THAT could 'save your life' if you got into a legal battle with your employer over your 'underwear.'

As long as it doesn't interfere with your job or annoy your coworkers, I don't think it should be a problem. Sensible employers only care about you getting your work done on time and without any hassle. However, employment in the U.S. is "at will", meaning your boss can fire you for any personal reason he wishes as long as it's not for a reason that's specifically prohibited by law under the E.O.C. (discrimination against race, handicap, religion, gender, age, etc). So I wouldn't exactly go telling him about yor innovative methods if I were you, on the chance that he might not be very open-minded to other people's ways.

I suspect your question is not genuine. You want attention, maybe a shocking reaction of some kind. If that is the case, I can't help you.
If your question is legitimate...I understand about not wanting to use disgusting toilets. But, is it no less disgusting to have fecal matter and urine against your skin all day? You mention studies showing the health benefits of not holding your bowels. How healthy is it to have all that bacterial matter contacting your skin?
As for getting in trouble at work, I can't think of any law or statute which states you must use the company's facilities. But I would not keep you as an employee, citing behavior problems as my reason for firing you.

It's your life and as long as you're not violating the rights of others, you can probably do as you wish if your employer doesn't object. However, I can't believe it's all that comfortable because babies commonly cry when they want to be changed. Also, I hope it doesn't become a trend because I find the idea, much less the practice, to be somewhat horrific.

Awww... Mommy didn't train you right did she....
Did she spank you when you did poopoo wrong?
I want to know how you clean yourself when you poo at work. I mean it has to require extra cleansing to get it off of the surrounding area. In the company bathroom, do you put yourself on the changing rack and hope for help or do you carry a verrry nasty rag.
Let's face it.. in an “at will” employment state, you are in more doodoo than your diaper will hold.

the constitution recognizes the right to do whatever you want as long as it does not endanger yourself, others or break any laws.
To my knowledge, there is no law about limiting the age of diaper usage.

you should contanct a legal office and find out. most likely, it won't cost you money, but won't you feel uncomfortapble if your u no wut is in your diaper? and others might be able to smell you, but maybe this can work out for you!
