I've been told that after 12months temping at the same place, in the same job, the employer has to offer you a permanent job. Does anyone know how to find the legislation for this? Is it fact or fiction?

I was told by Yahoo Answers Abuse above my posting of “Jason W. Ask “For those that do not believe in God. What is the solution to all the problems we see today? WAR?”, was not liked by others. After posting my last post, I went home and made a flyer of that page to fax (503-378-6827) to Governor Ted Kulongoski of Oregon. With a side note on it saying “If the truth were told, how my case got from the congregation to the church/state of other faiths, did the state unknowingly sin against my unique form of faith and me needlessly?” Now with my fight to get my case expunged and no money, I need a form like Yahoo Answers not to get in my way of my constitutional freedom of speech! I need the Governor to see my wise choice to live by my faith’s therapy over the state’s which I was doing before it ended up illegally in the state’s hands! NOW, can we get answers-abuse@cc.yahoo-inc.com to give me their contact fax, phone, address, to their legal area? After all, our God give us all freedom!

It is confirmed that the claimant's lawyer had change the date and time of hearing for summon for bankruptcy but had intentionally left the time of hearing unchanged; 2 portions in my copy of summon had the dates amended but not the time. However, both the court copy and claimant copies were amended accordingly. As such, I was absent for hearing and the registrar passed the order for the reason. The Lawyer is fully aware that I am raising a very strong objection to the claim with evidences which an official objection was raised and CC to him. This is not a fair judgment as I was not given opportunity to raise my points and that he had intentionally made me absent with that "Trap" What can I do to this?

My family and I attended a photo session on Saturday that lasted for about 2 - 21/2 hrs. The shots came out beautiful and we were very pleased with them but when we sat down to discuss prices it was way over my budget. I came with the expectancy of spending $1,000 but after we selected our packages it came to $4,000. We selected one family collage and a 30*40 framed pearlized picture. We also selected 6 additional poses which would be put on a CD. I really like the selections and would like to purchase the picks but I feel someone is making a killing of a profit of this deal. I do not want to be ripped of!!! Further more I think it is plenty of room for further discounts taking into consideration this is a family of five.

So a man could rape a woman, say he was drunk and just walk away.

Someone could just shoot someone at night, say he was drunk, and only get a few weeks in jail.

Virtumonde is a pop-up ad generator. This thing is insidious. Once it gets on your computer, it is nearly impossible to remove and re-gnerates itself. Why should Americans have to put up with these spyware bastards putting things on our computer that diminish the value of our investment (computer) and time? The methods to remove this thing are way beyond the average user, so they must resort to wiping the system clean. This should be a crime. Is it? Is is possible to find out who the poeple or company bhind Virtumonde is? Can they fine the people who pay them "per click-through?"

last night i was at my friends house with a few people, and basically ended up hooking up with this girl on my friend's couch. next thing i know, i feel someone pulling me and punching my head and it was this guy that my friend had invited. evidently, the girl i was hooking up with had sex with the guy trying to kick my *** recently which i really had no idea about until after. my friend's brother was there and pulled him off and kicked him out.

my problem is im not sure if i should press charges or file a complaint or whatever because we were all intoxicated except for the person assaulting me and the brother that pulled him off.

what should i do?

I am curious to know the answer to this question; Especially since two people were arrested on Friday, 09-21-07, for hanging two nooses from their red pick-up truck in Alexandria, Virginia.

Okay, this is an extermely hot topic!!!

When are the authorities (local, state or national) going to arrest the individuals who hung three nooses from the tree (which is now extinct) in Jena, LA.?

meanwhile zanax, valium and all the other drugs pharmaceutical companies are forcing down our throats have ruined lived and killed people. i say do away with the drugs that can kill people and simply replace them with a drug that won't seriously impair someone.

as far as taxing weed, you can sell licenses. say $50-$100/ year to "possess" under and ounce and $1000/year to sell or manufacture it. seems like it would be more profitable to sell license to everyone rather than fine less than the 2% of users when they catch them.

Heck I could just mail the phone back and not even pay the usuage bill and she would be stuck or could she take me to small claims court even though phone was in her name?

Did the people on the frontier actually NEED a law that protected their right to hunt for their food or fight off thieves/robbers?

Why did they need a law then keeping government from infringing on those inherit rights, other than to defend oneself from a corruptable government?
