Junk yard lawyers are not always your best option -- the fact that someone is tenacious and stubborn and ornery doesn't mean they are any good.

I've worked for some very tenacious and determined lawyers, who still lose almost every motion because they don't understand the basic structure of the law.

Sometimes, cunning, courtesy and a willingness to work amicably can be much more effective as methods.

I was told that if you go on the internet and pull up attorneys for your state, that the first five listed are the best attorneys in that state. So try pulling up family law attorneys. The attorney you hire does not have to be from your county.
Now, go see your daughter, even if it means sitting down for supper with your ex. It will look better to the courts and you will at least get to see your daughter.
