More specifically, I want to find out when 8 USC sec. 1158(b)(3)(a) was passed through Congress. I don't know where I even start. (And yes, I have access to Lexis and Westlaw if need be.)

I was taking a left when I thought the turn light was yellow but it turned out to be red. There are 4 pictures on my ticket showing: my license plate, my car on the line while the turn light is red, my car in the intersection while the turn light is red, and a picture of my face. THE PROBLEM, hopefully for them and not me, is that the rear view mirror is covering my eyes along with part of my forehead and nose. So basically you can see my mouth, chin and hair (which is dark anyway)

My options are to A pay the $200 fine, B send it back with a copy of my drivers license, C request a hearing, or D attend driving school.

I am eligible for driving school (D) but I would obviously rather send it back (B). I DONT HAVE 200 FOR A BS TICKET

So do you think it will get rejected if I send it back? Also what happens if it does get rejected? Would I still be eligible for driving school?
(sources would be amazing, thanks in advance)

Here it is, the soon to be ex-husband is in jail for assult and battery and a few other things. The Protective Order states that he is to have no contact with the minor childern and the wife. Now,the childern have been getting letters from him and his parents have been reading them to the childern and has even been reading the one to the wife to the childern. I thought that the Protective order meant that he can't even write to them. Help me out if I am wrong here, but I thought that he isn't tp have any cantact, that even means writing to the childern and the wife.

So they can save on medical costs associated with crashes, insurance, use of emergency personnel, backing up traffic, etc. Earlier I asked if people agree with the state making seatbelts mandatory and most people agreed with it even though there was no real direct hurting of another person by not wearing one (people felt it would cause more injury and death and indirect societal costs by making it optional) so the question is why would those same people not be in favor of banning motorcycles altogeather using the same logic (at what point does personal liberty become more important than societal responsibility and what criteria do we use to determine that?

my employer is a cell phone refurb company, due to some major theft incidents they've had in the last couple of months they have told all female employees they MUST wear sports bras, so that we will not set off the metal detectors. Many of the women do not have the money to buy them or just do not feel comfortable in sports bras. Is it ok for them to demand that? is it legal for them to tell us what kind of underwear we can wear?

I will try my best to explain this.... (all fake names)
My mother was raised by her grandmother(jane), her mother (sue) gave her up when she was 1. Well my mother (sarah Jones) just found out when applying for a passport, that when her SSI number is run, it comes up as sarah Norris, not sarah jones. After doing some investigation, it turns out that sue had married another man when sarah was 11. Shortly after, some kind of illegal adoption was done, making sarah jones, a sarah norris, in order for sue to get army benefits for sarah, who was now listed as a daughter of her new husband.(sarah was still never living with sue nor ever saw her in 10 years) Sarah and Jane never knew this happened. Sarah went through her life til now, 40 years later, living as a now widowed Sarah Hanson, who lives off of disability and widowers pay from my dad. Question is, is does all of sarah's accomplishments and marriages void out, since she used sarah jones to get them all and on her marriage lisence?

I live in Tennessee...is it illegal for department stores to have cameras or two way mirrors in the dressing room? like in the actual stall that you are changing in? I was wondering because today I was in the dressing room at belk, and I noticed that the mirror looked funny, well, it happened to be a door!! and inside were 2 stools that said "Loss Prevention" and it was big enough for people to sit in, i looked all around, and it has vents and a big hole leading up to the ceiling of the store, it looked like a place where "spys" would be??.... What do you all think?

How do I find out what degree of a misdemeanor it is? I'm from California and it was a first time offense. I'm also under 21. I'm applying for jobs and I know it's a pretty immediate setback to check the box that says I have commited a serious misdemeanor, so I was wondering if I really had to.

If The AVARAGE IQ among the TG community is 130 [borderline genius]… yet A new survey shows that 75 percent of transgender people in the Bay Area don't have full-time employment. Equally shocking: 58 percent make less than $15,333 a year.
http://www.sfbg.com/40/24/x_editors_notes.html

IF 8.3% of visible transwomen in the United States die by murder, versus 0.0055% in the general population… http://www.petitiononline.com/xgender/
Using a bit of basic math, that translates into…
You are OVER 1,500 times more likely to be murdered if you are a man in a dress.
Of the last 4 transgender homicides here in the greater Detroit/Ann Arbor MI Area:
ONE only ONE has been prosecuted... He turned himself in. The other three are not presently being actively investigated.

Then WHY do the courts believe the TG community does NOT deserve protection? http://www.365gay.com/Newscon07/09/092107bus.htm
