For some 200 years, the Constitution has been the Supreme Law of the United States.....until the 900 page Patriot Act stripped U.S. citizens of their civil rights and turned Prisoners of War into Enemy Combatants. Since that time, the Constitution has been ignored, with Congressional subpoenas refused, wiretapping without a warrant, secret prisons, documents allowing the President to advocate torture of prisoners, etc. The list goes on and on.

It is supposed to be the case that the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the United States. You are left to examine the actions of legislators, law enforcement agents and the decisions of the courts in order to decide for yourself just how true that principle is in real life.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
But that's OK, just borrow more from overseas, until one day we all wake up and find that we don't own the U.S. anymore.
