I know students get it for free, but when you're out of law school how much do they charge to use the service?

It depends on the package -- how much material you have access to, and whether it is a flat rate or billed by access.

Smaller packages -- such as cases and codes for one state -- can start at a few hundred per month for unlimited access. And it tops out a over ten thousand a month for unlimited access to all materials for an entire office.
