I believe in a woman's right to choose whether or not she will sleep with a man and possibly get pregnant.

I am NOT however, pro MURDER, which is what you do when you abort a baby.

What are you?

I agree, I am all for choosing to get naked and bump uglies w/ someone and, choosing to protect yourself from the consequences of such action.

I'm not going to make any statement here in regards to how I feel about abortion, since it's clear that everybody is pretty firmly either on one side of the debate or the other. But if you don't believe that a woman should be permitted by the government to seek an abortion (and in the legal right for a licensed physician to perform it on her), then you are, quite simply, not "pro-choice". A pro-choicer, at the very least, believes that the government and the police should stay out of ANY personal medical matters, but can still feel that abortion is inhumane and immoral without being a hypocrite. Regardless of which side you're on, I have little respect for people who in Orwellian fashion play semantics and try to redefine words to suit their own social agenda.

I agree with you on the first part, certainly.

However, I don't feel it is my right to attack another woman because she is thinking of having an abortion, or if she admits she has had one in the past.

I believe in a woman's right to choose. I don't know intimate details about her life. It's not my right to know and it's not my right to ask.

In my own personal case (the only time I personally would have a choice) I would choose life.

Yes, I am pro choice. I believe a woman has the right to choose an abortion because the law says she can. That law won't change.

no you are not pro choice. any decent woman can decide with whom she sleeps with. notice the keyword in that sentence is "decent". women who sleep around with any man and carelessly become pregnant are not decent women. Being careful of who you lay with is not something you can either yay or nay. (pro/anti) Its the right thing to do when deciding to bring children in this world.

if you were pro-choice you would accept that woman's choice to abort the unwanted baby. with a woman like that, why would you enforce innocent babies to be born to such irresponsible females anyway?

I used to be pro-life (which is what you are) and now I'm more realistic about how dumb people really are regarding sex and birth control. I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that we need to leave abortion legal.

Incest, for example, is more prevalent in society than we are led to believe. Girls rarely expose dads, and dads do take their daughters and get the problem removed.

Once you have an unwanted pregnancy of dark origins, there are no easy answers. You can be idealistic and think all babies will be loved and taken care of if they only have a chance to enter the world. But this is fantasy not reality. I grew up and saw this and changed my mind. Now I'm pro-choice.

I'm an American. I enjoy freedom. I don't like the government telling me what to do with my body.

If you think abortion is murder, then spend some time with a crack baby. I've got a pregnant mother living next door to me. She LOVES crack. Don't worry, she won't get an abortion. She'll have the kid, and get a bigger welfare check. We all lose.

I think you are confused! You may like the term murder, but that is a legal term and it is not illegal so it can't be murder!

And when did God ever give you the authority to speak for him, and when did God ever give you the power to do HIS judging for him?

So quit lying!

If you don't like abortion, don't have one. It is between a woman and her Dr. to decide.
