I want to copy a photo I found in flickr that has the Creative Commons. Under CC, do I have a right to print out a copy for my own personal use if I attribute it to the author?
I will print it at a local photolab, and before printing digital photos the lab has a disclaimer saying if the photo is not mine/is copyrighted I can't print it...

ok. here is what i think.

I think abortions are wrong. i would never have one. but i also think it is wrong for the government to tell a woman what she can or can't do to her own body. just look at what happened in south dakota! is this gonna happen in every state soon? i think every woman should have the right to CHOOSE to have an abortion or not.

serious answers only and please support your opinion.

If your answer is yes, do you fight for these ideas?

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who said,"Give me liberty or give me death." Now today, we have George Bush saying,"Give me your liberties or were going to die."
If you dont know the principles of the constitution, I suggest you go read it.
P.S. I support Ron Paul, he is the champion of the constitution and liberty, If you dont know who he is, I would urge you to research him on Youtube and Google.

Well I think the government has gotten way toooo big. That's why there are so many taxes because of them. If we find some way to downsize this country could be a better place. Not that its not good right now. We could just make it better. And we wouldn't have to give so much to the government.

Me and my friend (We're both 13) often go up to a pizza shop where we know most of the workers.. We thought we were decent friends with a guy who used to work there and shows up sometimes. (He's at least 21) This guy is from ohio so we decided to play a harmless practical joke where we taped a sign that said "Ohio Sucks" to the back of his car. When he caught us doing it he FREAKED out... he threatened to kill us multiple times and dropped the f bomb and others at least 5 times. He also pretended to punch my friend by starting to punch and stopped before he hit him.. He even said we couldn't come back when he didnt even work there! Are there any charges for this?

Can i sue Trident splash for there not being a splash like in the commercials when i chew it?
There's no disclaimer in the commercials saying "there will not be an actual splash upon chewing" or anything, so there should be a splash! Think i could sue them? Or actually get anything?

I currently live in a house that "shares" a driveway. Essentially, the neighbors decided that they wanted to use our driveway, didn't ask, and refuse to stop parking there. My great-grandparents built the house with a garage on the driveway. My neighbors used to have a garage in the back alley, but tore it down and planted plants to enclose a backyard. They now use the cement from the garage for a patio that wasn't there. The neighbors do have a side entrance to their basement on the side of the driveway, so they do own about 2 feet, from their house to the beginning of the driveway. We had a survey done, but it was bogus. It said that the neighbors own three feet of the driveway, and that our property ended under the other neighbor's house. We have a letter and photograhs from the previous neighbor asking us to connect a fence to our garage, to enclose their property. They state that the driveway is ours. What can we do to get them to stop using our driveway?

I just found out that a therapist I went to about 10 years ago has told some info about my family to some people that visit her place of business. I am so angry right now. She told me that I could trust her and she would never repeat anything I said outside of her office. She has told some horrible things about my family. While these things are true, I never meant for anyone else to find out. What recourse do I have????

I think if there are any alive that were slaves, we should do something for them.
And make the living slave owners pay for it. Then put them in court for civil rights violations.

My mom has a 2nd offense DUI in august 2005. She was assigned to AA and was supposed to get her license taken away for a year. When that date finally came the DMV claimed that they didn't get a copy of the records for the AA class. They wouldn't take her copy so the AA office had to send it again. 6 months later they received it but the AA office claimed she didn't come to a few meetings (at that time the leader would tell people to go ahead and go home and not worry about it) therefore they revoked her license again. It is now 2 years later and they are now claiming that she owes the class $900 because she went to the wrong class day. Nobody informed her that she was going the wrong day. Do you believe this is fair the way they are treating her. She was only supposed to lose her license for a year and 2 years later they still won't let her get it back until she pays $900.

It has taken only 100 years for children to develop from the Victorian 'seen and not heard' type brought up to respect elders and authority, into the modern disrespectful gangs with no fear of the police. Where was the happy medium, when children had more freedom but still had respect. It seems that the rapid technological advances in the last century have led to a world where an 11 year old child cant play football in the street and there is no going back.

A family law attorny has caused me to have a bill about 5 x higher than it should be. What should I do? What is the likelihood I'll have success working with the Texas bar pursuing an ethics or malpractice breach? I think there's nothing weighty that would be considered malpractice except that he's lied a few times (I have that 2x on audio tape) and also he represented a fictitious amount when testifying about the how much he'd billed me. (He was too embarassed to tell the court the real amount which was double what he stated.) He's a horrible person and I was a fool. He has a reputation for gouging.
