I am a ncp, I allowed my ex to move out of state with our son. She is now requesting an increase in child support. I have no problem with that, since it has been three years since our divorce and I am not making more money. I want to know if the court will factor in that she now lives in a state with a lower cost of living and that now for two months he lives with me. Also, I am not certain she is gainfully employed and can be, will I be penalized b/c she does not want to work and can? I know they look at W-2's, which will likely indicate she does not make the same money she did in NJ, but will also reflect she is not working. I want to do right by my son, but I do not want to be responsible for her share of his support. Will the court take into consideration that her cost of living is less? In addition, she had a significant amount of debt prior to our marriage and now since her move, am I responsible for that. Does the court look at her financial issues?

I'd like to know where Yahoo users stand. I was at a football party at school, and we had hamburgers and other food. Before that, 4 members of the football team were skateboarding. One of the Janitors threatened to call the police. The kid got off of it immediately, but forgot the threat and STOOD on his skateboard to talk to his girlfriend. He didn't skate, and he didn't move. 15 minutes later, there are three police cars and they write their names down so they could talk to his parents later. A weak punishment, yes, but still no excuse to call the police on the skateboarders. This school allows bikers to bike on school grounds! Why should they ban skating too?

The will is claimed to have been lost. there was a probate procedure but those children who were decendents of deceased decendents of the decedent were not represented in the procedures. In short, monies were distributed with personal interest in mind. I am needing information on what procedures to take in contesting the division of the estate as well as what methods to take in recovering a lost will. Thanks

Does it inspire confidence when U.K. airports are now employing 16yr old school leavers to be security. They do get the exact same training as all other applicants but wouldn't you want perhaps a bit of maturity in such a sensitive role.

I should point out that it is in fact the Government who allows this practice as the " overseer " of all airport security in the U.K.

your views....?

basically a few months ago i crashed my car into a fence breaking in total 1 panel and 2 concrete posts. i informed the landlord i would cover costs outside of insurance as this is not an option for me to get my insurance involved. recently i was sent a letter informing me that it had been fixed, various charges and costs totalled £1279.00!!!!! after askin freinds a panel only costs 50 max and concrete posts wouldnt be more than a 100. the fence was fixed in a day and so labour shouldnt be much either. obvious they are ripping me off and i dont know what to do. shall i not pay and wait for them to take me to court??and contest the amount they are charging me? who should i contact to help?? i have no clue what i can do. simply cannot afford this i am a student and only earn 200 a month. i am very upset and angry, any help would be appreciated greatly

I found the women she remembers the insident but said she would call me, but now I think she is afraid and dosen't want to get involved. I know where both of her jobs are one is a retaurant, and the other job is a law firm. You would think if she works in a law firm she would know I will subpoena her. All I have is her first name.

where i live the police shot n killed a man who was hallucinating about 3weeks ago. they said the man had a knife and thats why they did it. however the townspeople dont think it was necessary because they feel the man could've been disabled by some other means such as tasered, shot in the leg, or billy clubbed.our police ARE quick to use tasers any other time sooo. but the officer said they are not taught to disable but to shoot for the center of the mass. is this true??? what does everyone else think? was killing this man probably necessary???

I work in a retail pharmacy where until recently, we were allowed to keep our purses in a side room, where we could see anyone entering or exiting(and it was only pharmacy workers). Now we have to use a locker in the breakroom which employees and customers have access to, so we will be using combination locks.
There are holes in the locker so you are able to look inside and pretty much see what's in there. Am I required to give management the combination to my locker? Does mgmt have the right to search my locker? How much privacy can I expect with this situation? They say the combo is just in case I forget it, but it is in the computer where basically any supervisor can access it(only the mgr is supposed to have access).
The only reason I'm upset about this is because it's a pain to have to leave the pharmacy for my purse now, instead of it being in our own locker room, where I could see anyone going near it.

I took my ex fiance to small claims court because he owed me money for a loan I took out (and am still paying on) for his vehicle repairs. The idiot was 5 minutes late to court...the Judge never even acknowledged him, asked me a few questions, and then ruled in my favor. My questions is...can the ex idiot file an appeal if he didn't even show up on time for court the first time???

I am not married, and the woman I was with for 18 years filed a civil suit against me for palimony, child support, and money. About a year went by and we reconciled, through counseling, she went to court to withdraw the suit and the judge said no to her, the judge said they would not allow her to drop the lawsuit. She does not want to proceed with it, and can't understand why they are making her go through with it. It doesn't make sense. We have a 10 year old son and a gurdian ad liam was appointed, and he advised the court that she should proceed with the lawsuit because it would be better for the child.
