Should the United States combine all the police agencies into one national police organization? If you did consolidate the police, would you have to do the same to the criminal justice system?

Points to include in your answer:

The role of police in US society involves jurisdictional issues, duplication of laws between state and federal statutes, local control of police function, traning and education of officers issues, discretion issues and corruption issues.

I want to know you opinion and how you feel about this situation.

Please only positive answers.

So now it transpires that we, the British taxpayers, will be footing the bill for the killer of headteacher Phillip Lawrence?

According to media reports, Learco Chindamo, the culprit, will be getting a new home, new identity, and intensive security protection costing up to ONE MILLION a year. And we'll be paying for it!

Do you agree that British justice is a thing of the past? And that Chindamo should have been deported back to Italy? How is it that the judges in other countries manage to interpret the same Human Rights legislation in a more rational way than the lunatics in our British courts?

I feel so, so sorry for the family of Phillip Lawrence.

Now I’m a black women and I personally don’t have a problem with it but I just wanted to know how everyone felt about people dating outside their race? I believe that if you want to date outside your race that’s its ok and no one has the right to say your right on wrong but I do know people who have a big problem with it. Especially black women who see a black man with a white girl. I don’t have a problem with it but I do have a problem with men who say that “ALL YOU BLACK WOMEN HAVE ATTITUDE PROBLEMS”. Now that just not true! I have been out on dates with people outside my race and have had many bad issues with other people around us. I have gotten bad looks and negative comments from other people while on these dates. It sad that people who don’t know me feel that they have the right to tell me who to date and who I should go out with!

Hi ,
I recently came across a case wherein a person was acquited by the court of law in India but still he was languishing in Jail for 8 long years after the sentence cause the court clerk did not get the order signed by the judge and send it to the jailor.
The punishment that was given to the clerk for this negligence was a fine of a month of his slaray but neither was he kicked out of his service nor were any of his salary increaments stopped. Not even a mention of this was made in his service book.
Do you think that the punishment meated out to the Clerk was correct. If not what would u punish him with.

that you end up crying to him over trivial stuff in your life? I feel so stupid about crying - this issue doesnt even involve the case. But, I trust him and feel like I can depend on him.

What will he think of me?

Let's say that I somehow accidentally seriously injure someone. Now, this injury is that of which the average person would survive. However, this particular person whom I injured isn't a very happy person, and has no will to live, thereby succumbing to his/her injury and dieing. However, if they had a reason to live, they would have easily recovered.
My question is, in this situation, could I be blamed for their death, or would that be considered, in part, to be suicide? I have a feeling the law wouldn't be on my side, but what about technicallity or morally?

Things now are getting worse that their spouse is now verbally abusing one of our colleagues partners in the town at night when they have been drinking . Things are now beginning to get out of hand, does anyone know of any LEGAL BODY who we can contact to help us resolve this issue.
UK ANSWERS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

A friend of mine borrowed a bound photocopy of a book (review material) which she plans to bring into Singapore during her vacation by the end of the year? Will that get her into trouble at the airport/customs? Or should she just leave it behind? I told her not to risk it. She's being stubborn but I think I'm correct. What do you think?

My neighbor who causes so much noise in the weird wee hours of the morning are unusual. O.k. The wife plays with the dog outside til 2 a.m. in the morning yelling his name, and scantily clad. The hubby brought his truck this morning 3 a.m and began shoveling dirt/something from his truck onto his property. Could this mean he is stealing something from somehwere? I mean he works for this semi-company.

This family even has family members coming at 12-2a.m. in the morning for visits and people coming and going in their home. They seem very suspicious, and are always looking behind their back like something is going to happen very-unusual. What are your thoughts?

As a photographer, a lot of work goes into photo shoots, post processing, etc. When you've shot promos for a band, and they use them online but don't give any credit, what can you do? Several notices have been given to give credit, but nothings been done. A mistake made was not putting anything about giving credit in the contract they signed. So a cease and desist letter can't really be sent, but really, what do you do?
