Depends can you show that this person has a prospective employer, what are his reasons for comming to Canada, besides getting married.

If you are on social assistance and a disability I am sorry to hear of your disability, but will he be supporting you once you marry or will he be put on the social security role as well.

It is time we examine every immigrant and become suspicious of everyone wanting to immigrate. It is sad but we can no longer be a nation without borders, the terrorists took care of that. We must learn not to be so vulnerable, we must apply stricter rules and guidelines to our policies, we already are in trouble, we must take the time to develop these new rules and guidelines so they don't include solely the rich who can afford to come here and educate themselves. We must investigate the families, and their affiliations before they are granted access to our soul. The world has become a game board and some of these people are pawns and some are knights willing to drive into buildings, walk into buildings strapped with dynomite. You get it. Let the people do their job I think you should not be able to be a sponsor because you are in love, and poeple in love, love despite the faults of a person. You are not credible in the immigration's commission eyes.
