I recall many years ago that it was illegal for even a man to walk around with no shirt on, or wearing an undershirt. A friend of mine's dad was once cited by a cop for being in public wearing a wifebeater shirt. I don't know whether those laws got taken off the books or if just nobody enforces them any more. I think if a guys got "man-boobs", though, it probably should be illegal just to be little more fair to the women.

Yes. Because it can provoke some weak people to get you, and abuse you. Yesterday's indecent exposeur might become acceptable in today's standard. Look at the exposure decades ago, and now. Wait until people are educated, and uneducated or intolerant old generation die. It is a matter of time and generation. Eventually, what you wear, eat, and how you move will hardly matter to a person who does not know you. You sure don't want to spray scents, and be followed like .... .

That would be yes, if you are a female that is. in some States there is a limit by age, usually four or five years old for females. This is a state to state issue! In My State(MA) public Areas, yes! Remember just because one gets arrested, does not mean it is illegal. States and the Federal Government have their own definitions to what is public exposure or lewdness is. Some of these definitions are straight forward. Some are subjective in nature. Further there is Judicial precedence to think of also. So the question is not as easy as it seems. Would have to know what state you live in. Generally I would say yes!

In a girl's opinion, it really depends on where you are. If you are on a beach, working out, or riding your bike, shirtless is okay. But in a public setting such as a restaurant, being shirtless could be considered indecent exposure, so if you use your common sense and think about the setting you are going to be in, it is easier to determine what is and isn't appropriate.

Indecent exposure is the deliberate exposure by a person of a portion or portions of his or her own body under circumstances where such an exposure is likely to be deemed an offense against prevalent standards of decency and may in fact be a violation of law even if people like it.

In most public places other than designated areas where nudity is acceptable such as in nude beaches, unwelcome exposure of an adult's genitalia is the most common example of indecent exposure. More specific cases of indecent exposure may also involve masturbation, sexual intercourse, etc. in a public place.

In the fifty states of the United States indecent exposure is defined by state law as exposure of the genitals and/or the female breast in a public place and may in some states require evidence of intent to shock, arouse or offend other persons. The act is prohibited by state laws titled variously as Indecent Exposure, Sexual Misconduct, Public Lewdness, and Public Indecency. It is a criminal offense in all fifty states and is punishable by fines and/or imprisonment, and in some states a conviction results in having to register as a sex offender.

It depends on where you are.

Restaurants and public places along those lines obviously require a shirt. I think its rude to be shirtless in family settings like restaurants and hotels. It shows an extreme lack of sophistication.

However, if your in recreation like the beach or water park nobody is going to care.

A man no , but a lady yes. unless you are in a nudist colony,
they all walk around buck naked. I don't see how any married couple could agree to something that vulgar, then state they love each other more by doing this deed..

it depends on the laws where you live and if you're male or female. usually it isn't indecent exposure if you're a guy.
