ok. here is what i think.

I think abortions are wrong. i would never have one. but i also think it is wrong for the government to tell a woman what she can or can't do to her own body. just look at what happened in south dakota! is this gonna happen in every state soon? i think every woman should have the right to CHOOSE to have an abortion or not.

in 2006 south dakota lawmakers approved the nation's most far-reaching ban on abortion. setting the stage for new legal challenges that its supporters say they hope lead to an overturning of Roe v. Wade .

the measure, which passed the state Senate 23 to 12, makes it a felony for doctors to perform any abortion, except to save the life of a pregnant woman.

NOTE: the ban does not include exceptions for rape or incest

Right or wrong will not change the simple fact that abortion has been around in some form or another since the dawn of time! Herbs & potions were once used to terminate a pregnancy, then as times progressed & the wheel was reinvented, it came to the point of what it is today...a SAFE & EFFECTIVE way to deal with unwanted pregnancies. To outlaw it now would put all of our society in econonic stress. Not to mention all of the butchers that would be exploiting women & men alike in order get their fee to eradicate the fetus at the expense of the womans life & possible exploitation of the aborted fetus on the medical testing markets! What if everywoman HAD to carry a child to full term inside her body & she hated it so much that once she gave birth, the imprint of hatred from the "mother" caused that child to never be a human that could be trusted to be a stable human being? Even if she kept that child, it would always know that it was not wanted & it would live a life of sheer hell & possibly grow up to be a mass murderer or other type of social outcast. Our crime rates would sky-rocket if we as a society were forced into giving up a safe alternative to back room butchers with coat hangers as a way out of keeping unwanted children. The women who have gone through this horrible act are living proof that although abortion is safe & legal, it will never leave their minds as something that they feel good about having to do. Some women can go on with their lives, while others cannot & having a society that continually lashes out at & against the women who choose abortion does no one any good! Going into a clinic for a surgical procedure should not include people standing outside yelling at you & sticking bloody photos in your face & begging you to let them have your baby, rather than walk into the hands of a butcher & willingly murder your child. This madness must come to a stop at the doors of hospitals & clinics. It is not doing anyone any good. America is the land of freedom. Let's keep it that way. Remember that the word "pray" should not be misused & turned into "prey" on the people who you do not agree with when it comes to a life & death issue such as abortion! Let the God that you believe in so much do the judging & stop trying to force women into being "baby factories" for your so-called cause of what has been deemed "right-to-life"! Leave a person & their own personal "sins" & dilemmas in their own hands with their own belief systems! Pray for the people if you want to, but don't think that they all will agree with you or feel as you do when it comes to dealing with their problems & feelings on this subject!

I'm simply going to bet any individual towards it has on no account been confronted with a problematic selection concerning it. Recently an excessively near pal of mine learned she used to be pregnant. She has 2 kids already that imply the arena to her and she or he has been seeing her boyfriend for approximately 7 years, pretty much her children father, however now not biologically or legally. She used to be raised as a Christian and there's not anything extra most important to her than her kids. Unfortunately, her boyfriend knew this. He advised her flat out that if she didn't have an abortion that he could throw her and her quickly-to-be 3 children out at the road, promote the apartment, disappear and on no account get a dime from him. Sadly, she made the selection to move via with it and I used to be the person that went there together with her. I used to be the person that comforted her via all of the questions approximately God now hating her and her being a nasty character and all of the tears, now not her boyfriend. And even worse, she's nonetheless with him.

I am a believer in womens rights as far as what they do with their bodies. I think there should be limits on the term of pregnancy that an abortion takes place. If Roe vs Wade gets overturned, there will be thousands of deaths caused by hacks in back rooms. Still trying to figure out where all these "government funds" are that are supposed to being spent on abortions. Just like smokers, people claim the government is paying for medical care. Not where I live.

I believe strongly that until you have walked in the foot steps of a woman who is troubled and chooses the termination of the preganacy then I dont care to judge. My judge is God and I would rather see the life of a child spared than to see one lying there dead in a grabage can, or killed by her own two hands, or beaten daily, or neglected or abused, I think I am entitled to do what I choose and other woman are as well and until any other woman has walked in another womans shoes dont judge. Are there options sure there are i recognize that but whats good for woman isnt good for another so live and let live on this subject matter it has been around for discussion for many years now, why not keep personnal and within one's own ethical and moral decision making capacities. Thats what I believe is fair, if you dont know the reason why someone acts in ways that we dissaprove we dont need to question we need to pray for there soul and for their individual sense of peace with this troublesome decision

I think (excluding rape victims or emergency medical situations) that when someone chooses to have sex they choose to possibly have a baby. Therefore they should not be allowed to kill a baby that they laid down and made. They should at least carry the baby and allow another family to adopt it. There are several forms of birth control that she could have used to avoid pregnancy. I don't feel that it's fair for this innocent life to end just because his or her mother was irresponsible. Bottom line women are allowed to commit murder when they knew that a baby was possible in the first place. I don't think that's right!

I don't support abortion except where it is for a serious medical condition. I don't think the government should be funding the action of killing innocent lives. Your choice should stop when it impacts another life as it does with the baby there are too many ways to ensure you will not get pregnant to use this as a birth control method as many do.

I've always thought that women should have the right to choose, and I stand by that now.

Thankfully, I've never had to make that decision, but I know many who have. Some regret that decision, some don't.

i am against abortion as a form of birth control, which is how many young women treat it. however, i do believe it is ok in extreme circumstances. things like rape, incest, or serious health complications/risks to the mother or child. but in any other situation, i feel that adoption is a perfectly reasonavle alternative.

Abortion is ead wrong in my opinion yet I think it is a morale issue that the government should stay out of. If they were to allow it though I think they should allow delayed abortions up to the age of 18.

What about the unborn child living inside the mother's body? Doesn't the child have any rights? After all, it is unique person and is not part of the mother's body and should be treated as such.
