It is not "cool" as it sets a bad example to children who may see these idiots as role-models. People who break the law should all be treated equally, regardless of what their status in society is.

Not much...but it's a lot older of a problem than in today's starpower special treatment. The big stars of the 1920's and 1930's were protected from consequences by the studio system, and murders, dope, DUI's, rapes, etc., were "handled" by the beady-eyed fixers who were protecting their starry investments. All the babycakes shenanigans of today's spoiled bratz are pretty pale compared with some of the stuff in the old days. Same old same old...but at least the stars of yesterday were vastly more interesting as artists. I mean, guys, Britney, Paris, Nicole? B-o-r-i-n-g babies, IMHO.

I think it is total crap. and I don't care how many judges or lawyers get on TV and go on and on saying that anyone would get that same favour.. we all know that is not true.

And as for crowding in the jails.. so we let people go free???. So what will be the answer when one of these fluff heads actually kills someone or themselves... will it be oops.. made a mistake.

All I know, is that if ever I am caught for speeding recklessly, with a banned substance in my pants!! AND if I have already been warned several times.. i will just ask for the Lohan law to be enacted.

Should work for me just like her right... yeah, right!

The Courts might know some things about the cases that we do not. It is really hard to believe that so many celebrities suddenly started behaving so badly just because they have always wanted to. We only are seeing what we are wanted to see. Look for the real causes behind these "OMG Stories".

I think its BS. As far as I am concerned they should get 10 times the punishment as everyone else.

If you have a bunch of limos and a your parents own a hotel chain. How the hell do you get a DUI? Cant you just have your chauffer drive you home, or your Bodygaurd?

I think we should all ignore it and boycott reading the articles posted about it and the celebrities in general, so then the media would realize nobody cares and celebrities would be treated like all the other subhuman pieces of garbage that deserve to go to jail...

I think it is wrong! Everyone should be treated the same. If you are famous and have a ton of money, most of them can get out of it! What happened to justice!

I think it has much less to do with pampering the stars as it does with concealing the horrors and dilapidation of our prisons and jails.

It sucks! At the end of the day I wish I was one.
No one is above the law and it sucks that they get away with bloody murder.
