I watched "to catch a predator" on MSNBC last night. They trapped a guy who had very sexually explicit chats with what he thought was a 14 year old boy. The news people caught him. Then the next day they went to trap another one and it ended up being him again, using a different name.he ended up at the boys house naked and was sentenced to 2 years in prison, 6 years supervision. Then i watched the local news about a teenager selling ecstacy pills and she's facing 120 years!?!?

Me and my boyfriend who just had a baby are planning on getting married. We want it to happen as soon as possible. we've been together for 2 years now, and just had our first baby in Feb. of 2007.. My parents are signing me off as Emancipated so that him & i can make our own desision and everything. So if i get emancipated can me and him get married with my parents permission or not??

Please do not be a critic. im looking for mature and helpful answers not for someone to put me down.. we are very responsible and we drop everything to take care of our daughter. We've known eachother since i was about 7 years old.. and our familys know eachother and grew up with eachother. from our grandparents to our parents. I dont think they will have a problem with us getting married. but i just want to be sure whether they can sign me off on getting married or not. if i can make that desision myself. Thank you

Are there specific laws that forbid this practise.

Example: manufacture of a device that uses a battery but make it impossable for the battery to be replaced without distruction of the product.

Why do you think the police felt it was neccesary to lie in order to get a judge to sign a warrant allowing them entry into what turned out to be a 90 some year old womans house which resluted in her death?
And what do you think suitable punishment should have been for the cops involved?

I recently got a job to work in a law firm, and recently some collegues of mine told me my wotk attire was "a bit skanky and distracting" for the work environment. Personally, I always thought my outfits were of good taste, I don't go overboard or anything, if a wear a short skirt I make sure that my cleavage is covered up, or if I feel like showing cleavage then I wear pants. I've always loved fashion, and I don't want to show up to work, looking drab.

These are some of the things I've worn:

In this one, I pulled up the straps, so they weren't down like that [I certainly don't walk around posing like that]:

I saw on G4 that some senators were pissed about not being able to get an iPhone because it costs too much to get out of their contract. So guess what they're doing. Trying to pass legistlation that makes it illegal to keep a certain phone exclusive to one company ala the iPhone. Have you guys heard anything about this? How badly do you think they'll get laughed at when they propose this to the Supreme Court?

We have had laws in every society, and every society is corrupt.

When a criminaly goes to steal they think, can I get away with this without the police being able to pin it on me?

They never think, will the owner hunt me down and cut my fingers off after I rob his shop?

I think if we dropped all laws, Just like the animal kingdom, we would keep on going, existing.

doing bad things would be possible, but someone would get you back, just like how when you do bad now and are caught you go to jail.

I think no man, has the right to limit another man.

i dont think it will be chaos, because most ppl naturally are good hearted.

I think its what we should strive for.

say all you like about laws keeping peace and order, but they do the oppisite too.

I think if a 19 yr old, wants to screw her 17 yr bf, she should be allowed.
Society differs.

I think if i wanna piss outside in my yard, i have that right.

what man is so great that he chooses our rights?

why, should we have laws?

10 years ago I stated on my website... "Law school should be 5 times the tuition, and Med school free". If this had been implemented back then, we wouldnt have the caregiver crisis for the elderly, we have now. Like the ravages of a rampant plague, a perpetual suspicious dubious environment, of endless litigation suffocates prosperities "chance to happen".....tantamount to creating vibrant communities of trusting realationships. The eventual tax revenue, created for the states better than, "sweeping under the rug" those who, just happened to fall through the cracks, mostly for lack of opportunity, and the eventual cost keeping them along after the brokenhearted give up on life. A bit "Orwellian" how DWI became DUI which is now "impaired" (to cover .00000001 and a vitamin or allergy relief pill from a week ago as 2 DUI's) Arizona's pride in having the worlds largest refugee camp, in the world, is sickening, especially when those in terrorists jail camps eat better than 2 sandwich/day

My brother andy53333 asked the question what to do with older brother who is executor of the estate of my late Father, passed in '96. Executor will not give us copies or any information on the Deed plus, after researching we found a mutual fund that was not disclosed to us.The answer given was to get Evidence to prove fraud, HOW! when he has all the papers and we can't access anything, like the life insurance! Yes I found info on the Mutual fund but, we need the executor of the estate to sign documentation in order to even find out what kind of activities have occured on that. We searched records on the deed and find no other records other then when my Father purchased the property back in 1961. Asked for copies/bank statement from Estates checking acct & all we get is Excel SPREADSHEET.Unfortunately, the finances of the other 3 heirs are very limited so, the burden lies on me to hire an attorney for this. DO YOU think a paralegal could help ,(less $$) or do I need to get an attorney?

Is the supreme court ruling reguarding pornography invalid since the House of representatives, Senate, and President never ratified it, and it functions as a Constutional Ammendment, and should all responsible governmental agencies be held responsible for the misery committed to millions and millions of people. This is a serious question.

might was right and there was ancient/savage being who owned everything. then came modern age. mightiest was the king till we became more civilised to be subservient to king by descent. yesterdays decoits are the land lords and develop a system of their choice.the land belongs to all one of us why some of us be deprieved from owning a piece of land.can we be more civilised to undue wrongs perpetred by the ancestors.there is no merit/talens in holding 95 % of the land by a chosen few. land reforms globally is a must. let's start from this land of snakes and cows and pilot babas now.

I don't want "free" newspapers tossed on my property that I haven't subscribed to. I consider it littering. I'm gone for extended periods of time and don't appreciate this "Attention, burglars! Nobody is here now! Notice the accumulated papers?" I've made a good faith effort to contact the throwers, requesting that they stop, but they don't. Can I hire a neighborhood kid to pick them up, then take the offenders to small claims court to recover my costs for hiring the kid?

Anybody out there had a similar experience?
