I recently got a job to work in a law firm, and recently some collegues of mine told me my wotk attire was "a bit skanky and distracting" for the work environment. Personally, I always thought my outfits were of good taste, I don't go overboard or anything, if a wear a short skirt I make sure that my cleavage is covered up, or if I feel like showing cleavage then I wear pants. I've always loved fashion, and I don't want to show up to work, looking drab.
These are some of the things I've worn:

In this one, I pulled up the straps, so they weren't down like that [I certainly don't walk around posing like that]:

The clothes are very cute, but probably not the best thing to wear to a law firm. They aren't skanky, but they don't convey the professionalism that a law firm wants to have.

The skirts are way to short, I think in that environment the shortest you could go would be 3 inches above knee. As for the tops, they aren't trashy or anything but I think you should have a fitted jacket to wear over them or something. Fashion may be your thing, but save these looks for your own time, not your bosses. If you are hearing comments from co-workers it is time to reconsider your professional attire. Also, if people are talking, you've become a joke.

Neither cleavage nor short skirts are appropriate for most work places. If you want to be taken seriously and to be treated with respect you need to dress a little more conservatively. Whether we like it or not - our clothing is what first impressions are based on. Think of it this way. If you or your child are severely injured and you rush into the emergency room to find two doctors - one in a t-shirt and jeans and the other in slacks and a white lab coat - who are you going to run to first because they give the appearance of being competent? You only get one chance to make a first impression. Make it count.

personally, if your collegues think so, you might want to put on a little more before going out the door. It maybe a little better to wear skirts a little longer. the ones in the pictures seem a little short for a law firm

You work in a law firm so when in rome do what romans do... dress like every one else in the law firm, I would imagine you stick out like a sore thumb when you wear these outfits, there is still a way to dress in a business professional way without compromising you style.

you need to look into some pant suits or pencil skirts and dress shirts. you SHOULD NOT be wearing that to work..
try going to this page that helps tell you what is appropriate in a business like that.. and it gives you a list of comfy things to wear in the summer months.

Definitely not work attire. Save it for when you go out on the weekends.

Surely, you don’t REALLY think this would be appropriate attire for a law office, do you? Of course, it’s not. It is, however, appropriate for clubbing, so save it for then.

Well.. its not very professional. Those outfits would be very cute for going out with friends or something.. not necessarily work.

Sure it's proper attire if you work in a Las Vegas bar.
