10 years ago I stated on my website... "Law school should be 5 times the tuition, and Med school free". If this had been implemented back then, we wouldnt have the caregiver crisis for the elderly, we have now. Like the ravages of a rampant plague, a perpetual suspicious dubious environment, of endless litigation suffocates prosperities "chance to happen".....tantamount to creating vibrant communities of trusting realationships. The eventual tax revenue, created for the states better than, "sweeping under the rug" those who, just happened to fall through the cracks, mostly for lack of opportunity, and the eventual cost keeping them along after the brokenhearted give up on life. A bit "Orwellian" how DWI became DUI which is now "impaired" (to cover .00000001 and a vitamin or allergy relief pill from a week ago as 2 DUI's) Arizona's pride in having the worlds largest refugee camp, in the world, is sickening, especially when those in terrorists jail camps eat better than 2 sandwich/day

If this was the case, then who would cover all of the medical malpractice suits? You may not like lawyers, but they're necessary in society. And I'm sure you'd jump at getting one should your constitutional rights be threatened. What if someone shot you in the leg. You'd go to the hospital, but you wouldn't want to see that man thrown in jail (and/or you possibly suing him).

If law school were 5 times the price, lawyers would need to charge five times as much to pay off their student loans.

I had a full scholarship for tuition, and I still have hefty student loan payments to cover the fees and books and other expenses (like studying for the bar).

As far as Driving While Intoxicated verses Driving Under the Influence -- the term varies by state. But it's basically the same offense.
