I am pretty sick and tired of people using a false cry of racism to get what they want. So Why is the white Lawyer the only one in trouble here? He didn't say anyone raped him. While I agree his behavior is important, his reputation is destroyed , but would have well been destroyed if he would have dropped the charges. I can hear it now RACIST, RACIST. So far it looks like this girl needs to go to jail every bit as much as Paris Hilton. Nancy Grace , now that's a two teer system.

I worked for a company for 2 months and was let go. I was not on a probation period and had never been told my prformance was any issue. The reason given to me was that they did not feel my sense of urgency to bring in business was high enough. I was consistently bringing in business just as much as the other reps in the company but they stated I did not display a sense of urgency that they were looking for. I was never reprimanded by my superiors nor did anyone ever talk to me about any performance issues. My new sales manager set a goal that he put out to all reps and then followed it up with an email to me and another new rep stating that the new goals did not apply to us and that he was very happy with our performance. This perplexes me as to why I was let go. I know Texas is a right to work state but I thought since their corporate office is in North Carolina Imight be able to persue a course of action against them. Yes, I have already found a new job.

Scamming people out of millions of dollars and not responding to subpeonas?
The FBI just caught Lou Pearlman. He's the guy behind the 90s boy bands.
Over the last few years he's been scammed over 1000 investors using the Ponzi scheme. to the tune of $315 million. He's been on the run for the last few months and has ignored numerous subpeonas. My friends and I were just curious. About how mnay years in jail and how large of a fine, asdie from the $315 million is he looking at?
Also the report said that he was charge with 1 count of bank fraud. But he scammed over 1000 people and several banks. Why only 1 charge?

While submitting xeroxed documents like marks cards, certificate etc. it becomes necessery to take attestation from Govt. gazitted officer. I feel that this procedure was correct when Xerox machines were not invented / avaliable. During those days copy of the origional was typed or hand written. so it was necessery to be checkd by the gazitted officer to avoide errors. I feel that today when Xerox copy is avaliable it is not necessery to take attestation from gazitted officer. If some one is manupulating the xerox copy; they should be punished legally. The draw back behind taking attestation is that, no gazitted officer is free to check the entire xerox copy and hence they simply denay for attestation even after wating for along time infront of gazitted officers room. Here mostly poor and obdient person needing attestation suffers. Hence I feel that self attestation must be made legal while submitting any xeroxed document. Self attestion makes an individual to feel responsible.

Next week I will attend a custody mediation ordered by the judge. I requested a modification in custody. I know for sure the my ex will not show up,what is going to happen if he doesnt? A friend of mine worked at a dollar general and she was hospitalized due to a nervouse breakdown. She called the manager and let them know she was hospitalized, and she called a few days before she was released to let them know she was getting out. They told her not to come in because she had been replaced.After that she called up there and they told her she had quit but the manager told another "Manger" that she had quit. Can they fire you because you were hospitalized?

As a Christian, I have watched assault after assault on my freedom of religion in my own county. My children in school, can, do, and are in certain classes required to read, from and about, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and now witchcraft (harry potter) while at the same time denied the right to read or quote or list the bible as a source of info. My children are taught as “FACT “that they came from nothing, that life is nothing, and when they die they will turn back into nothingness, if they disagree they fail. Has anyone seen any attack from the ACLU on any other religion besides Christianity? This is not a debate on religion just on what seems to me to be a attack on only Christians.

If George W. Bush decides to pardon Scooter Libby, he should go all the way and pardon all of the idiots who voted for him as well!

He should issue a "scorched earth" pardon or issue no pardon at all!

The soon to be enforced ban on smoking in the workplace is concerning to myself and my colleagues at my place of work.

The company I work for operates a Day Shift and a Night Shift. The Day Shift have been given an area outside the building in which they may partake in the self administration of the addictive substances contained within cigarettes, that, incidently, are legally sold by the same company, on paid and on unpaid breaks.

The Night Shift are being told that no such provisions will be made as allowing staff to leave the premises presents itself a potential security threat, and thusforth they are expected to work a 10 hour shift without being able to feed their addiction like their Day Shift colleagues.

I personally believe that this is discriminating against the nightshift, and is a human rights violation as it shows no respect for private life.

Does anyone else have similar views,The Hardcore Anti-Smoking Lobby need not respond, other non smokers welcome though.

I hired this item this morning and filled out my details online. There was a postage charge of £4.95 and this wasn't applied at any time to my order.

I then received an email from the company saying that postage hadn't been added and that I had used a product code for existing customers, which I am not. I entered the URL directly and didn't use any code, so I am guessing this is an internal error their end. She has asked me to complete the order again, following a link which I am guessing will add the postage.

Is there any UK law that says they have to charge the advertised price, applicable to internet hire charges? I think they should honour the free postage as it wasn't me who entered anything incorrectly.

My family and I havent been getting on for a while as they are very agaienst my 32 year old boyfriend as we have a 12 year age gap!
After a many falling out, I walked out and have moved in with my fella and only been back to collect my staff!
I have had none of my post forwarded on and found out last night it's because they have been opening it and shredding it!

I'm sure this is agienst the law and I want them to know that just because we have had a fallen out does not make them above the law!

Just last week I was unknowingly on an Indian reservation and one of the "security officers" told me that they could impound my car for trespassing and charge me $10,000 to get it back.
