Not if they are on probation and told to stay away from alcohol or any place where the main sell of product is alcohol.
If they are not on probation and have no court pending, then yes, they can work just about anywhere they can get hired at.

A felony in an off itself would not preclude someone from bartending as far as it being illegal. If they were not on any type of bail or probation conditions saying they could not be around alcohol then they should be all set (even some people with these conditions might still be allowed to work with alcohol like bartend or sell it at a store)

Of course it would be up to the employer to decide if they wanted to hire someoen with a felony record.

Yes. This stops few jobs but the person doing the hiring may choose someone else because of it.

I'm going to have to say yes, it would prevent you from bartending.

What everyone seems to have forgotten is that it involves money and a register. Convicted felons are not usually allowed to handle money or to open or close establishments.
