This is true! A baby in the USA holds a firearms license. It has a photo and a scribble from the baby.Considering recent events (shootings) do u think it beyond stupid that this can occur?. Here in Australia we have strict gun laws so that no child under 12 may hold this type of license (which still may be too young) . Dont get me wrong...both my husband and myself hold firearms licences so I am NOT anti-gun. But I seriously think this is a crazy act. How can this sort of thing fall through the gaps?. Does any1 else agree??

Are there any legal requirements i should be aware of in holding such a competition. It would be totally free for them to enter, they would just fill in their details on a form and hand it in to the shop.
(Preferably someone with legal knowldege)
Thanks

Heres a thing not many people know .
In 1986 (( or there abouts )) American passed a law allowing itself to kidnap a person or persons anywhere in the world if it was thought that said person had killed an American citizen .
No evidence or proof was needed , no extradition , no permission from the country concerned , just go in and snatch .

They call this RENDITION !!!!!
When the Muslims do this America calls it terrorism ..
Its just another instance of the contempt in which America holds the rest of the world .

My local Target has a soda machine (you know the kind where you press the button and out comes soda into your cup). They have Cherry Coke as one of them but it just says Cherry Coke, like regular ol' Cherry Coke. When I dispense it, it tastes awful... and it's definately diet cherry coke. I think diet sodas are disgusting. I even asked the employee and he said yeah it was diet.

Isn't this illegal? Aren't there people who are allergic to diet sodas because of the artificial sweetener?

This is in California by the way. I am sitting in a drive thru to order food. They tell me that the drive thru is not working rite now and i have to order inside. I had just been there for like 10 seconds. I look behind me and see that it is clear (my back windows are tinted), so i proceed in reverse. Next thing I know I hit a black car. This person is driving w/out his lights on. Nothing happened to his car, but my back bumper has his liscense plate indented on it. Anyone in traffic law know who is at fault?

Everyone I recently talk to is more concerned that our government isn't doing enough about immigration. Is Tancredo the only candidate active on this stance?

An electrical contractor gave me an estimate to fix my air conditioner. He showed me his license. He needed upfront money to buy the parts that needed replacement. Now, he is stringing me along day after day. It has been a week and he has not repaired what is needed. I looked his lic. # up and it resulted in a company in Texas with an expired license (we are in CA). I e-mailed the Better Business Burea so far and ordered a copy of the check I gave him for the parts.

Oregon driving laws?
I live in oregon and my liscense is suspended temporarily, My girlfriend is learning to drive...she has a permit and insurance on the car and drives safely and is not a risk to other drivers whatsoever, My question is if we get stopped by the police and shes driving with me in the car what will happen? In oregon with a permit you are supposed to drive with a liscensed driver whos over 21, I am 24 she is 19 and we are insured...im just wondering if we will be in big trouble or if it is a totally bad idea, with a small amount more driving time under her belt she will be ready to get her liscense and i just dont want her to get into trouble. Thanks

I just witnessed the worse possible thing I could imagine. I was on the way home and someones Large breed dog jumped from the back of his truck. To my horror I saw him hit by three cars (tore apart like a rag) and then land in front of my car. I was screaming and It just upset me so bad. It was like watching a horror movie.
Are there any laws on not having dogs in the back of a open truck?
If not shouldn't there be?

Who would I contact in order to start such a law?

I had a big party at my house 3 months ago and, in a drunken state, some of the girls that showed up decided to steal from my house. All that was taken was my hair straightener, but it was new and expensive ($125).

A lot of people were at my house that night and I didn't want to start pointing fingers so I just dropped it and went back to using my old straightener (I eventually bought a new one which cost $135).

So now 3 months later, a friend of mine found out one of the girls who is friends with the theif(s); (she didn't steal it but she was there when it happened). She (the friend) wrote to me in an email that she knows who took it but she wont give me names. It's been a few weeks now and I'm not getting any answers. I was wondering if it would be possible to sue her in small claims court. I have proof (emails) that she knows who took it. Or, if I threaten to sue her and then finally get names would I be able to sue those people in order to get my money or straightener back?

Do you think that this leads to a general disrespect for the law? If protecting our borders which the constitution charges the feds with isn't enforced, is it logical to assume that normal legal cititzens will be less concerned with breaking laws that aren't mandated in the constitution, like income tax laws for instance?

My son got out of the military and can't get a job. He brought his wife (pregnant at the time) with him and they've since had the child. It's been 8 months now and he hasn't gotten a job since he's been here. He has tried and tried but he keeps getting turned down because he's either too expereinced or inexperienced. He also refuses to work at fast food because he says it's not good enough. I also co-signed on a loan for a car for them and since he has no job he can't pay the insurance or car payment. We have invited a moderator in to work things out but they still haven't come through on payments (no job). We never agreed to a rental contract (nor have they payed anything towards rent) as I said they could live here for free until they got on their feet. I'm tired of paying their bills and I want them out. I gave them a 30-days notice (word document) and I want to know what legal rights I have to evict them, how to do it, and how to get the car from them too? State is VA by the way.

Obviously, this person who is currently occuping the position of AG of the U.S. has only one thing that qualified him, HIS INITIALS!!!
Why is that he has been allowed to repeatedly lay blames on every one else for shameful screwups that even a third grader would know are his fault. Is he really so dumb or brain-washed to believe that the rest of U.S. would let him and the rest of their gang to get away with everything?

I am 8 months pregnant by someone who was seperated from his wife at the time and ran back to her when things got tough between us. Now she keeps harrassing me, emailing me and texting me that he's not going to have anything to do with the baby and is going to sign away his rights. I am under the impression that a PA state law requires someone else to adopt before this is permitted. However after searching for answers online I cant find the right ones. Is anyone familiar on how this is done, if it is ALLOWED to be done and what are some general laws and guidelines for this to take place. I am a single mother and there is no one but me to care for my child. He just wants out of the responsibilities of having a child that he made on a 'break up' with his wife (I was under the impression that he was DONE with her and no longer with her, however, he lied big time... fooled me) I do not agree to this taking place. Need some advice.
