gay married question and law?

if the gay are having right to married in country like4 Canada, why not we pass the law to be legal married between the Dog and owner?
or brother and sister?
or mother and son?
we every thinks here and we don't have ashame we called freedom. what you thinks is may be one day we lost all are control

I believe in gay marriage, and I have heard your argument before and honestly...

I see some validity in it *gasp*!

The truth is, there are people who want those things to be legal (probably a very small minority though I don't have any numbers), and how can we tell them no too? I know that other proponents of gay marriage say that "it is completely different," and it logically very well may be, but not to the people who love their horse or sister.

It's a very interesting and philosophical question to think about because the same question asked of the gay marriage debate can be asked here: "how do you deny someone a right that everyone else has and still call the rights equal?"

Well, normally, ones does not fall romantically in love with ones dog, sister or mother.

Meanwhile, there is no difference between a legal union of a man and a woman - or two women - or two men. What earthly difference does it make to society whom a person choses to spend their life with.

Marriage is a legal, CIVIL contract - not some religious thing. One can be "married" with just a license and by anyone who is licensed to perform the ceremony; a judge, a justice of the peach, some ship Captain's. The whole "church" thing is merely a preference and has no standing legally.

It is beyond me how many people think only THEIR way is the right way and spend their time and energy butting in to other peoples private business.

If you don't approve of gay marriage, then don't marry someone of the same sex...period. But keep your outrage to yourself.

Because a dog has no contractual rights. It's not human. It's not a consenting adult. Incest is illegal because of the genetic repercussions and illnesses. You're right, you have no control over anyone's lifestyle but your own.

Oh, and on a side note, all those scenarios you said are hot in their own way. I think it could be turned into a sitcom: A "loving" family and the dog. Starring Paulie Shore and Steve the gay dog.

I don't know about Canada, but I know in America, our country's coming to moral decay. Things are getting pretty wrong. Yes, it's called a freedom, but think about it. The whole gay marraige thing in my opinion is wrong. You're right, why don't we let there be marriage between those you mentioned. The whole thing is just sick. Marraige was put in place for a man and a woman.

If two consenting adults wish to spend the rest of their lives together, then why shouldn't they? They're adults and can make their own decisions. They aren't hurting anyone at all. For family members to intermarry is dangerous to any children that might be produced. It's basic biology. They can have horrid birth defects, and suffer severely low IQs, for one. As between owner and dog, well the dog isn't consenting to it. But, between two consenting adults, they should be allowed to do as they please. It doesn't hurt anyone.
