They send out a letter from a "collection agency" which claims that not paying it can affect your credit rating. I don't believe that this falls in their jurisdiction at all, considering that they cannot prove who parked the car in the first place. Any ideas/ thoughts?

We all know that the Bush Junta has committed many impeachable offenses, I have less than 900 charachters left to explain, but you don't need me to.

The point of the matter is, is it worth shutting down the government to do so? Morally and Politically? The last time that impeachment proceedings were underway, Congress put aside an anti-terrorism bill slated to create a department of homeland security - it never made it out of committee.

The other argument though is, how do we explain to our grandchildren, to history, that we tolerated this from an administration? What will they think of us for our failure to hold this criminal accountable? Bush ranks only behind Slavery on our list of travesties. Something needs to be done for the future, even if his dead-soldier-loving supporters object.

In Oct06 I went to the doctor feeling because my hair was falling out. Blood tests showed I was anemic.

A different doctor gave me results (lets call her Dr. 2), & prescribed multi-vitamins. I told her I've been taking multi-vitamins for the past 4yrs every day, so surely they wont make any difference. She said hers were better...

I went back again in December as things werent improving. I wanted Thyroid T3 & T4 tests in addition as I have a history & family history of thyroid disease. It took another 3 blood tests and the help of Dr.3, to finally get a T4 test, its a long story-problems with pathology.. I never did get tested for T3.

I went to see Dr.2 in Feb (all Drs are at the same surgery), & she referred me to Dermatology.

So, 6months after my 1st doctors visit this specialist wonders why I've been sent to him - and FINALLY I get prescribed Iron tablets - which they should have done in the 1st place!

What can I do (asides changing doctor's surgery). Can I take legal action?

first in the last two years I have been kipnapp and the place know who the guy is and won't go after him just because I am epileplic. they give you this he was looking for medical alert does that include rape? the thing then I get him stalkers after me and someone trying to put on life for 5,000 to have me killed. in other words to have me murder. the police have said to me what right do you have to walk down the street. they blaming me the victim and I was almost murdered outside where I worked at the time, I just glad my coworker was their to stop him. I report it to the police and they don't do anything we do something after you dead. my question is something needs to be done about the police. I wonder how do I get a restraining order which they won't do here in my state so who do I write to. do I write to internal affairs in my state in Baltimore or do I write to internal affairs in washington D.C. to get something done and stop blaming the victim but put blame on the criminal?

At the moment Australia has a national database for victims of crimes and criminals. Wouldnt it make more sense to DNA test all babies at birth (and incoming refugees/migrants of course)?

It would prevent and identify so many problems, that I really cannot understand why advanced governments are not willing to go the extra mile and provide free DNA testing, as they do for all other newborn blood tests etc.

I know its costly but so is dealing with the crimes/fraud that could be easily solved....maybe that would balance the accounts? If a rapist/murderer is caught the first time due to evidence how many lives would that save (if it was to be the beginning of a serial case (as so many turn out to be). John/Jane Does would be immediately identifiable.

Would you baulk at having your newborns mouth swabbed for DNA.....even though it is innocent now but could be a victim OR perpetrator in the future?

Would Big Brother be such a bad thing if its also your best protection?

The goverment are discriminating against couples that choose to cohabitate and also their children if they have any.
If your partner dies you will not be entitled to a widows pension the reason you are not legelly married also there is a widowed parents benefit which you will not be entitled to either.

I myself am in this position and have e-mailed the PM and some MSP's on this matter and told them its discrimination, I have also raised some other issues with them to do with this matter, at the moment I am in the process of getting my story in a resputible paper and the reporter is looking into this.

If you or anyone you know is in this position or could be please let me know you dont need to disclose all your details I just want to know the statistics also give me your oppinions on this matter and I will relay them in my story with the paper.
The goverment will need to make changes in this area or give plausible answers...

Hi, I am 19 and am concerned about underage dating. I have looked on a few websites and read a fair amount of Yahoo Answers, but I haven't been able to find the answer that fits my scenario. Ok so, a girl i like (aged 14) is interested in me and wanting to go out. Now I'm guessing anyone reading this out there is thinking; 'he wants sex' or 'date someone your own age' But i really have feelings for this girl. I know the legal laws for age of consent and understand that. So i told her that I do not want to get in trouble and that i do not want to go out. Anything could happen and if i were to accidentally have sex with her than i could get a criminal record or goto jail. I told her that if she is interested when she is 18 and i'm 23 then maybe that could work but for now its not worth it. It seriously feels like true love and i do not know what to do. She keeps telling me that her parents wont care and that she loves me so much and that our age doesn't matter. What do I do?
