They send out a letter from a "collection agency" which claims that not paying it can affect your credit rating. I don't believe that this falls in their jurisdiction at all, considering that they cannot prove who parked the car in the first place. Any ideas/ thoughts?

How many years does it take to show on my credit report? It's been 4 or 5.

It hasn't affected my credit at all. I've checked. It also also isn't something I owe them, in my opinion. They make so much money preying upon people who are just trying to go to school or work.
