My ex boyfriends new girlfriend calls my house, my phone, sends me messages on myspace, etc. I told him to make her stop and she did for a while. Well i moved back into town and got behind them in the car yesterday in traffic. Well, now she started calling MY SISTER! Is this enough to be considered harrassment? Or just an annoying child?

Need ADVICE!

If they declare bankruptcy and they probably will then what do you do? It would seem impossible to ever get any money from them.

How does this work. If blacks are the largest minority right now, but soon to be out numbered by hispanics does this make the hispanics closer to being a "non-minority"? Also, if you have several minoritys including black, hispanic and asian and asian is the lowest minority, does this give asain's more rights?

This video is not an alternative theory to the official story. All it is is a documentary on the families who lost someone on 9/11/2001. I recommend it to everyone. Just go to google video and type in "911 press for truth".

The families have a right to know what happened that day. They submitted an X amount of questions and about the 30% were answered to their satisfaction.

I made a deposit in October 2006 for my child to start at a Montessori school in Sept 2007. In Jan 2007, we changed our minds, and asked for a refund of the last month's tuition (I don't mind forfeiting the registration fee). The contract says that both the registration and last month's deposit are non-Refundable. I signed the contract. I have written a letter demanding refund of the tuition deposit on the grounds that they can offer the place to someone else and they have not offered any service in exchange for my deposit. I am also threatening them with legal action through small claims court. Do I have a case?

If I made a petition for a new law to go into effect would you sign this. It would state that a driver pulled over with no proof of insurance will have their car towed and can only pick it up if they show proof of insurance as well as the payment. By the 3rd time the police has the right to impound your car and sell it at an auction? What do you think? Any suggestions? Feedback?

The biological person of my daughter is attempting to ruin my life by trying to contact my daughter after years of not paying child support and seeing her. He cussed me out the other day and told me he would see me in court, and that I can't keep his daughter from him. I can write a 300 page book on why he can't see her, but basically he is not a good person. I am trying to talk to a lawyer but they are so HARD to get ahold of. Any advice from law students or lawyers out there. I'm in California. Im very worried a judge may give some sort of custody because he/she may say it's in the best interest of the child. (She is nine and hates him!)

Actually it was dropped down to driving while impaired, but let me give you the details... I have applied for several banking jobs over the passed few weeks, and today one of them asked in a phone pre-interview, "have you ever been convicted of a felony, misdemeanor, driving under the influence, things of that nature?" What? I've always answered "no" to the felony/mis question, but I've never been asked specifically about a DUI, and I didn't think it fell in the same category. Can and will banks really check for this? I really hope my one night of poor judgement hasn't cost me my future in banking! (btw, I answered "no" to this question on the phone today)

hi, we are running software company in india, and once we served our UK based client with our website services, we took 40% money advance on paypal, and worked for them around 40 days.. they appriciated our progress and works. but suddenly they reflected, due to delays in work, we accpect that there were delays but due to nature of work.
finally, they raised dispute in paypal, but after getting our reply on dispute they closed that dispute.
now just few days back, they contacted some advocates in our country and their advocates are calling us to resolve this.

i would like to know, can they file legal cases against us, as they are not from india.
and should i fight with them legally and waste my time.., as its matter of $600, so i m nt able to decide., i requested them partial refund.. but they say they require full, or they will proceed legally.. , in either cases i am getting suffred. company image as well, Any suggestion will help.. Thanks all respected lawyers for answers.

I received a citation for disorderly conduct after a night of drinking.

Here is an excerpt from my city municipal court website where my court appearence is not mandatory and I can just pay a fee if I don't wish to contest the citation..

"The Municipal Court provides a neutral forum for hearing City Ordinance cases, where the penalty includes a forfeiture.... These are not criminal charges and defendants are not entitled to a free lawyer."

From the sounds of this I'm not a "criminal" in the legal sense of the word?

Does a forteitude show up on a "criminal record".

I'm concerned because I'm in the process of applying for a government job.
