In my area if you receive any type of assistance the state that issued assistance gets any child support payments.

They sure can. Your child's SSI is paid for by the government which means the government is supporting your child - so the child support is paid to them which allows them to continue to support your child.

SSI and Child support is not a double pay day -you get one or the other.

Sure can. They take that money to make up for the money they give her. He may as well not pay at all. But then he'd go to jail. Sucks anyway you look at it. My husbands ex was on welfare, and he had to pay ALL the money back for that with his child support.

yep you people are silly next year tell your husband to decrease the amount of taxes he pays in during the year so next year there is no refund for them to take!!! that's how you get around that you wont get a big lump sum but you will get it a little at a time through out the year, personally i would file exempt and pay in if i had to!

Yes. You are only allowed to receive SSI if you have no other form of income.

new child help isn't an admission value for seeing your new child. it is your duty in direction of helping your new child. No state of affairs you arise with will ever replace that. in case you have anger mgmt subject concerns get them resolved so which you will petition for visitation interior the destiny.
